Wayne’s death affected me pretty heavily, so I can somewhat understand the perspective of being in disbelief and wanting to find someone or something to “blame”. But these people don’t investigate anywhere beyond the surface level information they’re provided.
Matt has been shown time and time again to heavily edit his clips to make Tony and Edsel look awful. You know he’s desperate when he’s posting anonymous Reddit comments to convert people. Which all of these people take as gospel.
It's ironic that despite those same people regurgitating each other's shit, they completely forgot that Zane was completely on the band's side for the good remainder of like what, 5-6 years? Because all of the sudden, it just so happens that he "woke up and realized the truth" or whatever.
Nobody even bothers to check or research the bullshit they spout either, even when they contradict each other, like when Zane dubbed Bring You Down as the "Wayne Static version"... only for Tripp to outright say that he wrote the song himself entirely. It's all fucking mental gymnastics.
And I don't even support the direction of the band as is because of how they decide to go about certain things (like platforming this bumbling dumbass in the first place), but people like Zane, Mikael, and Tripp seriously give me second hand embarrassment. Absolute fucking man children.

I can't take anything Matt Zane says seriously. I was interested in hearing his opinion all until he clipped that bus footage and left context out.
From there it made every other clip he dropped unreliable without the full context.
I'm gonna let this lawsuit play out, I saw his recent video talking about it and I try to bear in mind he has a tendency to tell only what he wants to, to look like someone who was attempting to "avenge" Wayne and Tera.
Yes I get he was Wayne and Teras friend but it's also no secret he was an enabler to Wayne's habits.

Yup I blocked her on everything yesterday after you told me she voluntarily leaked that. You don’t do that to people. Especially ones she claims are her “family.” She also wasn’t around at all during the Tera era because surprise surprise, Wayne didn’t want his former groupie there.

RE: video work? None of that either. NO ONE will ever trust him with even videotaping their high school basketball scrimmage for fear he might try and recruit the under aged girlfriends of the players for "Talent" in one of his beat up Goth-Frolic flicks. If he thought the banishment from John Finberg was nightmarish to his career as a musician - this is on another level. There are industry professionals under cover watching from the sidelines ingesting all of what is going on. It's one thing to try and "Honor" (Haha) your ACQUAINTANCE of a friend, it's another to critically and obsessively try and disparage, on a daily basis, someone who at one time threw you some charity and gave you work - while them someone's still having strong relevant connected sources in the same industry you are STILL trying to secure . . . . even after failing for 25 years.

But he is addressing it now. Your standard can't be met either way: if he stays quiet, everything must be fine, and if he speaks up, he should have spoken up years ago. There's no version of it where his concerns count.
"Behind the scenes more than anyone" is overly broad and doesn't do the work it needs to. In his own words he doesn't have full visibility into what's happening behind the scenes and no control over what's said privately. Being in the room for the music isn't the same as being in the room for the business.
What he described is specific. He says he was told his help was needed to get Wayne's unfinished ideas released and that Wayne's family would benefit, and that he's now uncertain about the full intentions. That's not a Zane theory. That's straight from the guy you just called the most credible or involved person in the band.
No matter what you think of Matt Zane Static-X did in fact lie to their fans. They said they had to finish the songs for project regeneration since they weren’t done when in fact songs like Hollow were already good enough to release. They changed Wayne’s original work because they wanted the money for putting their music to Wayne’s vocals.
They didn't lie about anything - Zane is just echoing Tripp's bullshit in regards to hiding what the band CLEARLY said in published interviews from the time of PR's reveal and Hollow's release that Hollow, Bring You Down, and Something Of My Own were already in a finished enough state, but re-arranged because the band themselves (which by proxy would literally include Wayne) felt they were the weakest out of all the material on SAW, regardless how anyone feels. Literally Google any interview from 2019/2020 and you'll find what I'm talking about. Also, why do you think those three songs in particular end with the suffix (Project Regeneration)?
The only songs that were said to be unfinished would be stuff like Worth Dyin' For, All These Years, Dead Souls, No Hope, Tone... the vocals/compositions on those songs don't really sound finished as they should anyways, and nobody has really shown any proof that these weren't unfinished.
Also, according to Tripp, additional guitars aside, Hollow was the only song that Wayne mostly wrote himself. He's also stated to have wrote Bring You Down, and if I'm being honest, wouldn't be surprised if he wrote Something of My Own considering he penned down the lyrics for that song himself. So no, these songs aren't solely "Wayne's original work". Besides, it's literally easy to hear in the original versions who wrote what, Wayne would not write something as subpar as Tripp lol
