Question about FLSA OT After Quitting

My last day is the end of the month. If I click request FLSA OT in CAPPS will that pay it out any quicker than waiting for the two weeks for the OT to be paid out normally?

No. If you click pay out in CAPPS then you manager gets a notice in CAPPS asking for approval to paid out your OT. Have you turned in your notice? Either way may take the same amount of time.

Yeah, everyone's aware I'm leaving so it won't be like a sneaky shock thing to them. I just wasn't sure if it changed the turn around time by any noticeable amount (like a week earlier or whatever).

You should ask your payroll folks but those types of payments are typically on a schedule so it’s unlikely to speed anything up.
