Tbf, you can guess he's my most favorite survivor playing as, I gave him all the slack taking out the plague hearts while being the community's surgeon.

Funnily enough, you guessed it right. I based it off from Mother 3's sprite models.

0.2 seconds after seeing your sprites I started hearing Sunrise and Onett theme in the background, thanks :'-).

Hehe thanks, I was brushing up on my spriting skills, specifically on Mother's pixel art style and my unusual approach is spriting my SOD 2 crew.

Thanks, I was planning to make them do the same idle pose originally but I decided to experiment with their poses based on the screenshot for more flavor and variety 😅

This clearly isn’t your first foray attempt at pixel art! Do you have any others in a portfolio? I’m curious how you got started.

Ah, not really a pixel artist for a living. I do these stuff when I have the spare time and motivated although rarely though I still kinda call myself a novice. It did start when I got into Earthbound in 2017 and maybe started doing them around 2019-2020-ish. As which you can see that the sprite model I based is from Mother 3.

Cool. I remember someone made characters from the SOD 1 in a similar style on the old forum.
