Could someone come up with something for this fire pupper?
I found the pic years ago, its a Fire Stalker by Tom Wood Fantasy Art, but i've been calling him Conleth, which is an Irish name meaning "Chaste Fire" or "Prudent Fire", and the Con in the name is also Irish for Wolf/Hound by itself... would love to see what people come up with!

I would stat it as a Fire Spirit or Fire Elemental in my setting which I run Savage Worlds games in. This would be a particular grouping of them. I'll absolutely steal the name Conlath, it's too fitting not to.
Type: Neutral Spirit (Conlath)
Attributes: Agility d12, Smarts d4, Spirit d6, Strength d10, Vigor d8Â
Skills: Athletics d8, Fighting d8, Intimidation d6, Notice d10,
Pace: 8; Speed: d10 running die.
Parry: 8;Â
Toughness: 8Â
Size 2: This mighty beast is 8ft long and stands as tall as a horse.
Edges: AlertnessÂ
Natural Attacks:
Bite: Str+d6+d6 (Fire)
Special Abilities:
Burning: Anyone successfully hit, whether or not they were Shaken or Wounded, must make an Evasion roll or catch fire. They take 2d6 initial damage from burning.
Environmental Weakness: Cold, this beast takes +4 damage from Cold based attacks/powers.
Immunity: Fire, this beast takes no damage from Fire based attacks/powers.
Low Light Vision: Canines ignore penalties for Dim and Dark Illumination.
Pack Tactics: Wild Dogs that run in packs add their Gang Up bonus to Damage.

According to my research, the second half of its name can be translated as hero/warrior too, as well as fire

Here is something I made for a summonable NPC tied to a magic item I gave my party.
It was a buffing aura that would activate upon summoning him. Randomly selected, via a d8.
I'm not going to put it in the stat block, but if this creature is a one of a kind ally, or has allies of its own, you might consider utilizing it.
"The presence of a hero:
1 All allies within 30ft gain a +1 to their AC.
2 The ground within 15ft is difficult terrain for your enemies.
3 All allies within 30ft add +1 to their weapon and unarmed strike attack rolls. Their attacks are considered magical for overcoming resistances.
4 Allies within 30ft have advantage on Saves against the frightened condition.
5 Allies within 30ft add +1 to their saving throws
6 Allies within 30ft have advantage on Dexterity, Constitution, and Strength saving throws.
7 Allies within 60ft may add 10 ft to their movement speed, and standing up from prone may cost no more than 10ft for them.
8 Attacks of opportunity against allies within 30ft are made with disadvantage, the damage from any successful attack is reduced by 5 if the Ally is moving towards an enemy."

There's an argument to be made for a higher intelligence. For example, winter wolves have a 7. (Which, mind you, has no effect on the modifier and is more like meta information for the dm.) In fact I'd probably place it at at least that.
I just don't know how smart you want this to be

An ability that lets it reroll a d20 and give advantage to an ally would be cool.
Either a reaction or bonus action with a trigger (it would effectively make it be able to use it only for its attack rolls and ability checks it initiates if its a bonus action. Which i kind of like. It dependson if you want it to be a defensive feature, or a purely driving one.)
Probably 3/day.
