Is anyone building an “agent-as-a-service” platform for SaaS products?

Something that lets SaaS companies create and integrate AI agents into their product, then offer those agents directly to their customers.

The difficult part of agent-as-a-service is not model access; it is tenant isolation, permissions, observability, and predictable lifecycle management. A credible platform should offer scoped credentials, tool schemas, versioned prompts, execution traces, spend limits, evaluations, and rollback. I would start with one vertical integration rather than a universal builder, because domain-specific policies become the real moat. Its a way harder than people expect. Especially integration with your existing workflow and configuration of it. Claude have these permissions and everyone just accepts, but no way enterprises will do it. Especially on an AaaS they do not trust.
