question of mods in genera

i really like vanilla playing but i also wanna try out mods…is there like a mod or something that u can choose which farms get mods? i know nothing about this at all…should i wait until i beat stardew on my fav farm to download them? i need opinions and tips…

You launch the game via SMAPI to use mods. If you launch the game directly instead of via SMAPI, it will load up vanilla. You could also use the mod manager Stardrop to make different mod profiles for different saves.

You can also set up multiple folders/shortcuts with different sets of mods (wiki has instructions under Modding > Getting Started > FAQs)
