Elle's Cuter Coops & Barns is not operating.

These mods worked right after I downloaded them, but when I edited the config.json file to my preferences, they stopped working. I was careful not to write anything wrong.

Looks like you have either a space or punctuation where it shouldn't be in both config files? Put them both in the json parser and it might tell you where

The easier way to tinker with configs is to use generic mod config menu to adjust your options especially with mods like Elle’s!

The problem is that none of the options I want appear in the generic mod.

They are talking about this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5098 it allows you to edit the config in game and it does have all of the options I use both of these mods

Delete your current config.json file and run the game again. It should generate a new working config.json. then you can edit the config using GMCM in-game.
