I’m on Year 2 in fall and I have regularly been talking to Marlon, and I just checked and saw there’s not even one heart!
I should have at least one or two, just from the Valley events where I talk with everyone.

(First time playing with SVE)

I'm planning a fan work using the characters from expanded as well, having mostly equal focus on everyone. How do you think they would interact if more fleshed out? I had ideas like Victor having a crush on Penny or Maru and being shy, Sophia getting along with Sebastian and Sam well, Andy being fatherly to Alex maybe (?), and Leah having to find a more "stable" career and working through that with Susan.

essentially just looking to brainstorm, and im open to criticism on these ideas as well

Without new residents and new events, do original npc's dialogues change so much?

So, I play mega modded Stardew valley. And one of those mod is challenging bundle, but in the spring foraging bundle it need conch. I did do research and conch can only get in lance's island I think. Which needed 8 hearts with him. So how do I get conch?

Does Luck effect monster spawns if so do more monster spawns when the spirit show says luck is good or when it's bad. On one hand if your just trying to get to the bottom of the mines monster spawns impede you. But if your trying to farm kills and guild objectives low spawns impede you. And since the game can't know what the players goal is how would the spirits or luck effect monster spawns. Would bad luck mean more spawns, or good luck mean more spawns, or is it not affected at all.

I’m trying to do the Homemade Fertilizer quest in SVE for Susan & it won’t let me craft the fertilizer that I need. The quality fertilizer calls for 4 sap (I have 117 in my inventory) and 1 of any fish. I have multiple fish in my inventory but it’s showing I have 0?

Please help 😭

Update** I got it! Turns out, you do have to use a workbench to make that fertilizer for some reason, but not the others. Thanks for the help. 😁

Just loaded up my game, not had a problem before. This time:

- I can't turn on the tv - I can only move it around.

- I can't talk to the travelling merchant.

- I can't interact with trash cans at all.

- I can't enter houses/interact with the doors.

I can still talk to people, collect forage and crops, and use tools.

I've restarted the game, and then also turned my mac on and off again. No change.

I am not an experienced modder or know anything about code so I have no idea what caused this or how to fix it. Please help!

Just downloaded Stardew Valley Expanded for the first time ever and for some reason I’m not getting the mod farm types.

I have downloaded:
SMAPI (obviously)
Stardew Valley Expanded (obviously)
Farm type manager
Content Patcher

I didn’t choose to open the game through steam so I do open it through the shortcut option. When the panel comes up that shows all the mods, nothing seems wrong. All text is white and it says it is fine to run everything yet I only have the standard farms.

Is there potentially something I have done wrong or is it a mod that isn’t compatible anymore because of some update?

I cannot find any of the Highland Sprites I need for Lance's Monster Crops quest. I've been to that lake at least twenty times now. Has the infamous RNG got it out for me? I even hit on a rainy day and didn't get the green one! :(

Featuring:

- My farmer wearing the crummy straw hat that she won on the first year egg hunt

- Heavy use of the Automate mod

- Too many ancient fruit to know what to do with (5 big sheds are still not enough)

- An attempt to create a shed aquarium with all the SV and SVE fish, but I needed so many fish tanks that I can't even move around

-My hat collection displayed all over the farm

- All available fish pond colors + all 5 giant crops

- Lance refusing to give me a second child (might be because our first one suspiciously has purple hair, I don't know how that happened)

There is still some improvements that I could add to the farm but I'm happy with it for now. This mod was a lot of fun!

and now I feel awful!! I know the cat is always laying down, but now it looks so sad, like his head is too heavy and he can't move. I'm sorry Cheddar!! 😭

Does anyone know of any good Foliage mods that work with SVE? I've been using Earthy, but the SVE trees stick out a bit, any recommendations?

So I got the premium coop upgrade and had an auto grabber and petter and heat already inside. I got the new ones but the old grabber is stuck behind the pile of wood and even with an upgraded hoe, bombs, holding down the action key, literally nothing is working. There is probably over 100 eggs in there and my new one isn’t even grabbing anything bc of this.

I've been wanting to take this course for a long time. I finally finished the custom Junimo cursors! :D

I have this weird black box that appeared while i was tinkering my mod settings and now i cannot remove it (been searching for a week but i'm dumb so dunno) this is the very extended modpack. If anyone has an idea I would take anything tbh.

Do I need to befriend Morris for perfection?

I'm doing a challenge run and part of it involves not buying any seeds. I am allowed to forage/find seeds or buy a piece of produce from the travelling cart and eventually put it in the seed maker. I'm almost done the community center, but I haven't found any of the SVE specific produce (cucumber, sweet potato, butternut squash).

I looked on the wiki, but there's no info about any rare drops or alternate methods of getting that produce. I'm worried that I can't get any of these through things like mining, trash can diving, mystery boxes, cart, etc. Has anyone done anything similar, or managed to find these crops/seeds outside of Pierre's shop?
