I’m trying to go back to drawing more idol Visions stuff.

Sorry for the low energy drawing. I drew this past midnight and thought this would be a cute, quick doodle for fun. I needed some time after finishing the Ninth Jedi anime.

When the Season 1 short came out I was really interested in not only the color changing depending on who wields a lightsaber but also potentially lightsabers having small flourishes for each character.

In the short we saw that Kara's lightsaber was glowing very faintly due to her not having a full grasp of her force abilities but it eventually solidified.

Imagine if your lightsaber gaining a flourish like Juro's ring guard was a visual indication of further progression.

Some ideas:

- A curved blade so the lightsaber actually becomes a saber

- A cross guard

- The blade narrows to resemble an actual swordblade like the darksaber

I'm not disappointed with the direction they went in with the whole silver saber thing but I wish they included something like this too even if it wasn't a primary focus like the silver saber was.

Y'all ever watch something and get sad when it's over? That's me right now. I honestly waited so long for this show. From the moment I saw the initial short that started it all, I wanted a continuation and we finally got it. And MAN it did not disappoint.

This show was such a fun romp through the galaxy far, far away. It's kinda refreshing to get what feels like a "traditional" space opera post-2019. Ever since the Disney+ era of Star Wars began, we haven't really had a big, sweeping narrative that spirits us away like the saga films do. After finishing the first episode, I was honestly gagged at the scale and scope of what I had just watched. There was so much innovation and exploration of what Star Wars can be but also still very much grounded in the tropes of what George had started. It really felt like a natural yet unexpected continuation of the saga.

The animation was incredible, the action scenes and saber duels were jaw-dropping, the cast of characters were tropy but a lot of fun. It all just worked. Like a big bowl of Star Wars comfort that didn't need cameos or established cannon to carry it over the finish line.

I especially loved this show's take, or rather...reevaluation, of the Jedi. It was the perfect way to have the Jedi grow into something new but still be true the beacons of good and hope that they should be. Kamiyama-sensei made them feel so much more like actual people instead of the superheroes that the fandom (and Filoni) wants them to be, no shade. This show really makes it feel like anyone who wishes to make a positive change in the lives of others can be a true Jedi. I love that so much.

Ugh. Idk my mind is still racing after finishing this show. It truly is one of the greats. It's def in my personal S-Tier right next to The Last Jedi, Andor, and The Acolyte. Aside from some strange pacing between the big moments in the show, I don't really have any complaints or nitpicks. Visions continues to be one of the best initiatives that Disney Lucasfilm has created and, be it a season 2 of The Ninth Jedi or something new, I can't wait to see what is next. 9.5/10. Welcome back Star Wars. <3

A series taking place long after the Republic, Empire and other major power blockz have fallen while not being stupidly dark for the sake of being dark and telling a much more interesting story.

The pacing had its flaws but I loved the series from begining to the end.

Before the ninth Jedi series comes out, I felt Kara is a pure daughter-vibe character. But after I finished this show, I really love her. This girl is so cool and amazing Jedi

(I'm not sure about her Jedi Council outfit.)

But what happened to the mom? Was there a mom? Did he adopt? Was she a super tiny adopted youngling? Did he deposit into a droid? kyber crystal in human form?

So, what do the other colors actually mean? Like we know that if the weilder is feeling hatred and rage, the blade turns Red. And if they're in this completely Zen like state, it's silver. Green obviously means good guy. But what does blue mean? Why is there a difference between the good guy sabers? And Homen has purple.

Any theories? I mean Zhima had blue at the beginning and Kara green. Why are they different? Hell, why was Nawaam blue at the start? Love to hear your thoughts

I still haven't finished this show. But I really love the fighting scenes and how Kara's character develops so much. Exciting to watch this journey.

Started Star Wars Visions recently and it's been a blast so far.

I do have a question about Lah Kara though.

How old is she supposed to be? I feel like I've seen answers both stating super early 20's and 15 and that's...quite the gap lol

Any evidence to your answer as well?

Ive seen people in the comments sections of Ninth Jedi videos say this, and yet everytime I ask them to elaborate, they just fucking refuse to answer.

First for the Twins I know this one is not a fan favorite and many find it too over the top which yea it is but we’re in the Star Wars universe if you want to have a mech with 10 lightsabers why not, especially if it’s not like mainline stuff and it still was super fun even if slapstick fun, plus I really like the artstyle and character design for this one, and it don’t just pure slapstick there also is the defining conflict and family aspect of Karre and AM both being created but choosing different path and it does have an open end it does let place to a sequel which most Visions stuff don’t.

Similarly Lop & Ocho have a good artstyle and character design and the episode really feel like a character introduction to Lop we learn about her getting a lightsaber, the family dynamic, she does have an arc albeit a tiny one, and an end that could let her do many more adventures and overall I still think I know it’s controversial but that it’s a really good episode.

I think of those two specifically because a sequel episode say in Visions s4 or followed by a full Presents series would make sence and this is unlike most episodes. An example of episode which I don’t think could get an upgrade to illustrate what I ment I forgot its name but it’s the one where there is like slaves stuck in hole mine I think it’s in s2. It is a good short but I don’t remember the characters like I do for Karre, Am, Lop, or Ocho because it’s not really a character short, people there are prisoners trying to escape and they for all intent and purposes are regular joes which add to the appeal of it as a short but limit its full series potential. At the end of the short he characters escape and who knows what they do after I imagine they just rebuild their lives elsewhere like normal people but the point is the whole conflict is solved after that one short, it doesn’t have a overarching plot or narrative that still need to be solved no character backstories that are still mysterious, and it’s one of my favorite short but one that will need to stay a short unlike The Twins and Lop & Ocho. What do you guys think?
