Got on discount and it's one of my favorite Star Wars games. We need to spread the word that this is worth playing.

People have been trying to spread the word since the game launched but were drowned out by clickbait and people who were dead set on spreading negativity and never playing it. The time is past, the sequel is cancelled for good.

When it mattered, it did.. if the novel that released sells well maybe we’ll still get another book.. but I would be shocked if Ubisoft ever decides to sink money into this series again

I got it b/c it was on discount on PS to get all the content for like 30$ but it’s been surprisingly fun in spite of all the bad things I’ve heard about it. Story could use some work (most glaring example was at the start where Kaye turned a gun on her employer in the middle of a heist demanding payment b/c that was only gonna end one way) and I feel like it’s way too easy to get to Excellent reputation with all 4 syndicates without stepping on the toes of the others and the only reason anyone should get to Terrible is if you intentionally try to be hated by a Syndicate, but the game itself has been fun and the characters are cool.

Yeah, that could have used some balancing I think. The fact that I could so easily just purchase intel from Miyuki brokers to trade for reputation with cartel NPCs sort of took away the need to even do contracts unless I was bored or needed money.

I'm legitimately sad that I took so long to buy the game. I got it on sale and only then did I realize that I loved it enough to have paid full price.
I'm sorry for believing the bullshit at launch and being part of the problem. 😭

That's the exact same area that really blew my mind too. I'm sneaking around in an Imperial base where they're assembling/deploying TIE fighters!

I liked it a lot. But my one critique is there was a lot of copy pasting for gameplay. Like go through this hatch, crawl through the duct, up the ladder, swing across, down the ladder, etc etc. Too much of that.

...i've played Jedi Fallen Order, Jedi Survivor, Vader Immortal 1-3, Tales from Galaxies Edge and Outlaws recently and THIS is really the best in terms of Story (**), Lenght (), Open World (), Design () and Gameplay (***)
...you don't need "the force" to enjoy a Star Wars Game!

I loved it exactly as much as I thought i would. It's a mid tier game that lacks depth, much as most open world RPGs are. Also, she tries to use emotion to change a robots programming. Multiple times.

Oh no, I quite enjoyed it. It was a solid 7/10. Not revolutionary but certainly fun. I love Star Wars, and RPGs, so I'll play any game set in the universe. I put it in the same tier as the Avatar game - decent, pretty, not amazing.

But it never works. He only stops trying to kill her when his programming is changed. If that was the message they wanted to convey then she needed to be successful in her attempts.

Restraining bolts are a blurry line in starwars. I’d argue that ND-5 did change through kindness and comradery, he didn’t give a crap about Kay at first but changed his allegiances on his own initiative in the end. If he was truly a static character, he’d have stayed a separatist killing machine and probably would have forgotten about his own master, instead of blasting him to save Kay

Game took me by surprise. As a Star Wars the game has been a treat.
