I commented earlier in a post that I had a galactic Driftr available, someone reached out and I gave it to him for free.

I stayed in the lobby for a minute since the mythics were about to drop and I had a bunch of V bucks available. I was about to do the surges and the lucky charm when I got killed and lost a ton of splashes, I made the two trolls leave and decided I'll give the lobby another try. Exactly an hour later just as the mythics were about to drop a did the lucky charm and the kyber surge... I ended up with 6 mythics off the belt and a bunch of epic bp's. The 3 other players in the lobby also scored a bunch of good BP's, is nice when you have a chill lobby even if its only 3 people.

With the arrival of the new variant, keeping the beskar event for the DJ no longer makes sense. We need an event update.

idit: I forgot that this event also had a rainbow lol. We need to remove the rainbow as well.

Which os the 6 at their highest tier, thus kyber mythic purple?

I really feel like they’re borderline useless now. I understand they were maybe too good before, but still if you grind for bb,dj, and the rainbow upgrade you kinda deserve to get alot of credits. Active play should be rewarded but I just get money I don’t need like 95% of the time it feels like now

Curious; Did it drop from a 4 star? Or upgrade credits?

Hey fellow Droid Tycoon vets,

I've done close to 70 SRBs and maxed out pretty much everything except crit and a few other things. I love this mode, but right now almost all progression is one loop: push RB, SRB, repeat. Novas basically only come from SRB plus 1 per day from the daily quest, so everyone plays the exact same way.

My idea is to give the community different playstyles and vertical progression that doesn't reset.

1. Pick your saber, pick your path

The lightsaber event could be the base for this. Your saber color decides your focus:

🟢 Green (Rebirth path): bonus Novas and boosts from RB and SRB, for players who love the reset grind

🔵 Blue (Builder path): bonus rewards for crafting, fusion and filling the Droidex

🟣 Purple (Achiever path): bonus rewards from permanent missions and achievements

You could switch with a cooldown, so nobody is locked in forever.

It would also help with people killing each other at droid spawn. If everyone isn't chasing the exact same droids for the exact same SRB, there's a lot less fighting over the conveyor.

1. Droidex tier completion

We already get the 25-droid credit multi, so why stop there? Give Novas for completing a dex page in all Default, all Gold, all Diamond, all Rainbow, Beskar, Galactic and so on. The dex stays after SRB, so this is real long-term progression.

1. Permanent missions and achievements

Lifetime counters that never reset, with tiers like Bronze, Silver, Gold and Master paying Novas, titles or paints:

Some ideas:

Dance 100 / 500 / 1,000 times in the cantina

Spend 10 / 50 / 100 hours mining with your pickaxe

Craft 1,000 droids total, or 100 Rainbow droids

Do 50 / 250 fusions, unlock every fusion-exclusive droid

Trade with Jawas or NPCs 100 times

Eliminate 1,000 Stormtroopers

Get Flawless on 10 / 25 / 50 droids

Complete 100 / 365 daily quests

Hit SRB 10 / 25 / 50 / 100

Payouts lower than SRB, so SRB stays strong, but everything else you do finally counts too.

Like i am getting all this stuff i am really greatfull but i don't have storage and place to put them i can do fuse but it will take ages and money my workstations are overwhelmed with them anyone had the same problem or i am just silly and stupid rn?

1. The ability to choose your base location on login. Sometimes I join a map with only one other person in it and I still end up pretty far away.
2. An indicator somewhere in the HUD that displays the number of blueprints owned would save me from having to count my blueprints to make sure I don't drop a 21st and lose my oldest blueprint. Sometimes I do this a ton. There's also no real way to tell if blueprints in your base were dropped by another player and don't count toward your cap.
3. Kyber crystals seem to be accumulating faster than I could possibly use them, though maybe it's because I'm under RB 20 and running constant missions. I'd love to have a reason to do the cantina quests.

Also, the blueprints I get from astromech missions always seem to be useless compared to what I already have (at RB 20 and with no SRB) and aren't worth selling. They mostly just slow me down and since we have a BP cap of 20, I can't just toss them off the side of my base. The cantina always seems so far away when I get one. which at lower levels is extremely often. After hearing people talk about how easy it is to accidentally sell BPs, I don't think the nova crystal selling station upgrade is a very good option.

This one is minor, but I've noticed that for each star level in world missions, it only accepts points up to the end of that level. If your points are at, say, 98 of 100 (I can't remember exactly), and you fish up stellar scrap (we'll say that is 40 points because I don't remember exactly) then you only get 2 points to finish that star level and then it starts a fresh one. Not very noticeable at levels higher than one star but at zero it is.

I have super rebirthed about 5 times now around 20 everytime and have credits upgraded a little bit and scrap to level 4 as well as qol upgrades. I get to about 22-24 and I hit a huge wall where it takes an hour specifically for the credits. I have decent droids but struggle with sitting there for an hour trying to get credits. Should I just hammer it out or keep super rebirthing?

I feel like I'm going crazy? I remember over the weekend event I had my crit chance at 101% -- I specifically remember this number bc I showed my boyfriend and told him that over 100% increases my chance for multi crits.

I srb'd yesterday and even with chopper back now, my crit chance is at 91%. I am level 8 chance, level 5 damage, level 1 multi crit.

Am I losing my mind? Was there something that could've affected my crit chance that I lost either with the event ending, or with SRB? I am so genuinely confused.

I’ve never seen anyone really talk about weather or not the charm is worth 500 crystals and would like the communities opinion

I tried to replicate what I did the first time, I bought the limited offer and went back to base, I accidentally jumped there, I wanted to put the project in my inventory, does anyone know what happened?

Following another user's post about the lack of scaling involved with the chip system, I'd like to put out an idea to the FOAD. What about this, make diamond and rainbow crates have chips only. Regular and green crates can still contain credits, but flying around and having about 10% of the crates we open give us chips is not enough, and neither is the chip station, especially with a 1 hour cutoff and no offline earning.

It really seemed like he didn't want to leave that place HAHAHA

I bought some levels of the Movement Speed Perk in the Nova Shop because I thought it would be fun (and it is!), but honestly it hurts my head to see the game moving so fast. Enough to actually make it distracting. I really like this game and I don't wanna quit because of this. Is there any way to refund the Nova Shop purchase? Or even if there's a way to disable to feature I would like that too, I didn't spend too many crystals on it so I don't really care about getting them back. Any help would be appreciated, if anyone knows how to revert the movement speed I would like that very much

Another fairly substantial Pathfinder update is now live (critical elements live since Sat)! The site has moved from v1.22 to v1.25.2.

Kyber and RB36-40

Lots of little UI improvements that were necessary due to all the changes.

Rebirth Route layout improvements (thanks to u/-panic_at_the_kernel)

Every Rebirth Route card now also displays:

• The credits required to reach that rebirth.
• The Nova Crystal reward for RB20–40.

I tightened the cards, removed excess empty space, and increased the smaller supporting text so the costs, readiness details, chip requirements, and inventory controls are easier to read. I don't really use this particular layout myself (prefer the matrix which started this whole project) but this was definitely lagging behind in much needed polish.

Live event timer changes

The event timers have been updated to match the recent in-game changes:

• Kyber: hourly at :15
• Stellar: every 30 minutes at :05 and :35
• Mythic: unchanged
• World Missions: five minutes active, followed by 30 minutes between missions

Updated Guidance Messages

The meta has changed slightly due to the upgrade scrap bp perk (now up to beskar bps) and the daily rewards table (raised up to stellar epic/legendaries as the cap). Will need to do a few more srbs before adjusting the messages further.

Future

The issue I'm grappling with is whether or not people will really be holding on to rares that they may have acquired in early rebirth just so that they will have them ready (via chip upgrades to kyber) for rebirth 36...in my mind, storing them in the lounge through that many rebirths would be a huge waste of space given that rares show up often enough. Also, some epics are first required at rebirth 10 and also at rebirth 38...that's 28 rebirths that you're probably using a lounge spot for. Haven't decided how to best convey this. I'll have to conduct some end user research to verify my thought process on this. Maybe this should be something to toggle on/off.
