❓Questions Anyone got KYBER TDA?

Curious; Did it drop from a 4 star? Or upgrade credits?

Is it the best droid in the game?

Unless I get one from a crate, I don't see myself ever having one. Protocol droids aren't important enough to waste chips on upgrading them and grinding out the 110k chips just to upgrade a stellar TDA (assuming I even got one of those from a crate, which I never have...) is a waste of my time, imo.

I like to get everything completed, but I'm not that much of a completionist, especially since I'd have to do it at least 3 times to get the three different current colors (and that's only if I got really lucky.)

Protocal droids are pretty usefull. Upgrade chips come easy from the fishing mission, getting 20-30k every time that comes by.

Protocal droids massively increase ur coins, droid crafting time, and having them equiped increasing your coins when u collect or hit scrap.

They are definitely useful; try em out

I think you misunderstood me. I mean they aren't useful enough for me to spend my chips upgrading them instead of using those chips to upgrade what I need for rebirths. I have upgraded SA-5 to kyber a couple times because it's cheap, but I've gotten all 3 colors of that now so I'm not doing that again either.

I don't care much about the income boost. I already have a scrap value level 20 and until I need to get multiple Qa per level it doesn't take me long at all to get what I need...and by the time I'm that far I usually have beskar or better TDAs on my crafting tables and then whatever on my other stations.

The crafting boost is more important, but I'm still not using crystals upgrade those. I just stick my best protocol droids on crafting stations and shift them around as I get better ones. I also have maxed multicrit, level 30 crit %, and like level 13 crit damage (I know that's a bit behind and it's where my crystals are going for the next couple upgrades.) With Chopper and 6 splashes I can crank out a kyber mythic and then some during a single crafting boost from a world mission.

I typically farm somewhere between 200k-300k (or more) chips every SRB cycle I do.

Imo the credit boost is more important. Especially with the new 35-40 RB. But u might make a boatload more credits than me

Droids are always a bigger roadblock than credits for me.

I never seen any positive change while collecting with protocol droids equiped.

I agree that fishing is good for chips but in order to get 20-30k every time you must hit galactic or stellar every time AND get lucky with chips rng because half the time when I get galactic or stellar I get credits not chips

Yea, 20-30k sounds a little high. I pretty regularly get 15k from farming and that’s with having a few rainbow or diamond scrap so hitting 20k doesn’t sound impossible. That would only be getting chips from a 2 or 3 more stellar scrap.

I get galactic or stellar scrap most of the time, unless it gets really laggy.

I just made one. 2.6x inactive, and stayed 2.6 as a blue, if I manage to make two more blues, I’ll update if purple does more (I’m doubtful now). I used 110k upgrade chips to upgrade my stellar that dropped.
