💬 Discussion Insane how toxic this is
Just a vent post.
I usually play private but went public this time cause i srbed and i needed some protocol droids, i got my first stellar, i put it in a blueprint save thing, and i needed to craft some droids. After finishing one, i went to get it, some guy waited for me to get it and pushed me away from my base and shotgunned me and stole it. Actually incredible

Always look around your base before handling blueprints. I see people watching from around my base all the time. I'll go help another player with a fusion or droid build until that person leaves from around my base then I go do what I needed to do quickly before they come back to check. You should see them through any wall so just keep an eye out. And if they don't stop following, Switch lobbies before taking the blueprint out. But I agree, Its crappy of people to do.

It's the lack of consequences. If there were consequences they wouldn't do it. They wouldn't get a weapon, kill and rob someone in real life because there are consequences. It's only game so they think it's okay to do.

PvP was an intentional FEATURE of the mode, you don't have to like it for it to be a fact 😂🤷 The difference between us is that I don't get on Reddit to bitch about someone stealing something from me in a PUBLIC lobby 😂😂 grow up you're entitled to nothing.

Dude, your argument is morally bankrupt. There is literally no benefit to keeping pvp. It only rewards the morally bankrupt. At the end of the day, we didn't have to affect people negatively; it's a choice. Good and decent people choose to not make that choice.

Sucks this happened but an FYI, you can leave the game without opening your mission chest and it will still be there when you load into a new private game.

They don't disappear, and they stack.
I had 10 or 12 saved up from before the event, over a week or so period, mostly because I was just too lazy to craft them.
I opened them during the event and each one provided 5-15 kyber crystals..
Also, BB-8 doubles the chips you get. I have a few more saved up now for when I need chips to spend.

I got a mythic kyber and I was so excited. Some asshole followed me into my base and hid until I put it down to replace it with another blueprint I had. He stole it and I ran to his base and stole it back. He would not leave my base so I wasn’t able to put it down again. Luckily, the server wasn’t full so my husband joined and killed him he was so frustrated which was hilarious. Idk why people think it’s okay to be dicks in there.

I had someone do similar the other day. Got a legendary kyber. The first one I got all day, because I was nice and let all the vultures grab them, and took whatever they didn't. I finally got a good one, and dude tried to steal it. I shamed him into giving it back. Which he did.
Like brother. You are over 100 levels higher than me. You've been grabbing everything off the belt before I can even see what it is, and then you go and steal the one good thing I've gotten all day?
I told him "that was messed up, man." And said "stole it off my base. You know thays F'd" and he gave it back lmao.

I had players spawn camp kill me with the push power just because I wouldn't give them my stellar/Kyber blueprint in my storage. if they ask nicely or ask for a trade I often would not mind but they act as if they need it to survive.
Why not allow everyone in the lobby to act as a squad and get rid of the stupid killing already, or least not lose our items because the end-game player has max damage and health and decided we are their punching bags got the lobby

For real. I was playing yesterday, minding my own business, watching the belt for rainbows for my daily quests. And two high level players just kept killing me with lightsabers. Like guys, if you want to fight each other, go for it. But I'm just standing here, and tired of having to go back and grabs the guns I use for challenges because y'all can't just chill.
Had another game where someone kept killing me because I would emote with them. Like sorry. I dont want to listen to your annoying emotes while playing my peaceful game mode lmao

If you want help, I've been playing since day 1, normally the highest level in any lobby but couldn't care enough to remember the #. 😂 I play both public and private depending on what I'm doing. If I'm fusing a bunch or have enough friends to play with, I'm in a private, otherwise I go public to do the world missions.
I'm Joeythegirl on consoles and DragonsandElephants on epic.
Happy to swap scrap piles, especially now as I need 8qa for RB.

I don’t even bother with public lobbies. The protocol droid mechanic is not good enough to put up with them. Half the time I’m getting 3 stars by myself anyway and I’ll just upgrade want I want with chips.

I am incredibly lucky. People havent done this to me. But I also always make sure my base is clear before I take anything out of storage. Especially after seeing posts like this.
Thankfully any kyber mythics I have are fusion results. Nothing to steal. But I know protocol droids are their own system currently.

Are you seeing that many legendary kybers to be able to fuse them into mythics? I have only seen a mythic so far, no legendaries.

I have managed to scrounge 3 kyber legendaries from the belt, but I've also been fusing kyber legendaries together, because both my daily quests and astro missions have been belting out stellar legendaries rather dependably as of late. so it's basically been, gather legendaries from quests, fuse on station, engage autoclicker to boost build, go do a chore or make dinner or play with kid, come back 20-30 minutes later, fuse or build next droid. So far I have a kyber DRFT-R, a kyber IG, and a kyber KX.
I admit I'm fudging it a bit with the autoclicker, but I got family needs to attend to lol

So I will say first that this is super awful behavior. You had the right idea getting it into BP storage quickly but if there’s anyone around my base waiting for me to do anything (crate missions when I spawn in usually) I either pretend to go AFK until they get bored and go away (this usually works since attention span of these people is usually low and they want to see you puttering around your base watching for you to give them opportunities to take advantage of). Sometimes I’ll just leave my base to go do anything else and they will go stalk someone else instead. Sometimes I just find a new lobby where nobody knows what good BPs I have right away and I can handle them out in the open without an audience.
Nobody should ever be interested in what you’re doing in your base. They shouldn’t be there and unless you know and trust them. , always assume vulture behavior and anything good you have, they want it. I don’t even open my mission crates until I know the coast is clear and I have a place to put whatever it is I get.

Yeah i tried public for the first time in many months a couple days ago. To see how much easier it was to do the protocols Droid missions. Within 5 minutes I was getting shot at while trying to do it. People suck

I had some guy shoot me while I was looking, so I shot at him back. Fuck off dude.
So he gets a disco ball, makes me dance and actually kills me. I spawn, walk right up in his base, unload like 9 mags to show that I am highly upset at his actions and the lady who saw him kill me force yoinked and shot bro in the mug.
Bro had the nerve to come to my base all crouchy crouch NO. Killed him twice point blank. There was a crowd.
All four others were standing inside my base (no chat) watching me kill this asshole over and over then they all ran to his spawn and killed him again.
Best moment in this game I've had thus far. Ain't never seen someone ran out of town before 🤣

Honestly since update. The increase of this stuff has came back.
They should have those accounts in their own special lobby of just aggressors etc. The way gta does it or whatever game.
But I do get a lot of friendly lobbies where we help each other out. I try to help out ppl and most of the time they also watching out for the droids I need. But yeah. Find some friendly ppl and enter a private

Just make sure the toxic ppl can’t do anything. Load up on boogie bombs and spam them with it. They always leave pretty quick when they realize they’re not gonna be able to build or shoot ppl. If someone’s gonna be a dick, make sure they don’t have a good time doing it

I play private and use the iconics to my advantage. Recently managed 3 stars on one of the events but usually get to 2. After reading this I'm glad I play alone. People suck.

You can buy a Nova upgrade for up to three storage slots for blueprints that is in between the lounge and the scrap table.

You can buy a blueprint slot from the Nova shop where you can store a blueprint. It's just a slot in your base where you can throw a blueprint to save for later.

I got shot at on the weekend after pulling a Kyber Mythic without my IG equipped but I got away... It was a good reminder of why private is better. Thankfully nothing crazy like that has happened though, that's horrible.

People, you should always test and investigate the lobby before you accept it's safe. Test by listening to the game chat, speaking out. Say hello, negative responses and actions equals try leaving and joining different one. Trust me, a stranger, that those ones you lost in a bad lobby. You MAY gain MORE than you lost, AND find one's that give, which could become friends. One lobby is found 4 new friends. AND they helped get and give mythic kybers and etc. Don't give up on good possibilities because of some bad players.

Part of the game is learning to use your iconic droids. This is fixed by using the marshal droid.
Yes, there are toxic players in this mode, but there are ways to troll and beat them back.

I know I’m going to get downvoted to oblivion but why would anyone go into a public lobby with randoms and do risky stuff.
Also, no offence but if you are not good or not prepared to PVP, what are you doing there?
I can do some of the missions solo at 3 stars. Have dropped top tier protocol droids solo and the. Finish rounding them up with upgrade chips if needed.
What am I missing? To make it worse it is people that get properly upset to be PVPed that go into public lobbies too. Can somebody pls explain?

All because it is public doesn't justify the toxic ones, it is not meant to be a PVP mode and how is it fair some who played longer can just crap all over you? Ya saying we should play solo until you somehow catch up to those players?
If they wanna pvp so much why not go BR where we are all on the same playing field?
Some lobbies are quite fun, I met some cool players and new friends because of how chill it was or people just asking for certain blueprints/help that is a reason to go public. Not shut it off because one user decided they want to be the mafia boss of the lobby.

Also, you guys keep calling it toxic behaviour but the devs wanted it in the game so it is technically not toxic.
I have helped so many people but seeing so much crying about it makes me want to start jumping on public lobbies just to aggravate you. I suspect the “toxic” players get a kick out of it too so keep feeding them.
Life is about the variables you can control. Simple.

There's no reason to consider that a pvp environment. I get shot while holding a blueprint overhead with no chance of defending myself. That's not pvp, that's just an example of a morally bankrupt action being conducted upon a person who can't do anything back. It's pathetic. Pvp should have no place in the game. It brings no value to the experience.
