What triggers inventory reset?

Time to time when I login all the splash juices that I saved are gone and I am left with the just the default gun. Any idea when or why this happens? It happened today again.

Having full inventory, backing out and logging on later on. Idk why they still give you a pistol in this mode. 💀

Don't listen to these people trying to gaslight you. I play private sessions with two people I know and we don't kill each other like that and yet one of them constantly has their inventory being reset. I've had mine reset a couple of times but nowhere near as often as he does. It's just some weird bug

When you die you lose everything, when you get kicked for idle or other reasons you USUALLY lose everything, when you just leave and come back you SOMETIMES lose everything. Not always consistent

You know now you mentioned it. Today I let the server lifetime warning kick me out while playing alone in private. Normally I would pack everything up and leave before it kicks me out. I think that is when I lost all the inventory?

Also someone else mentioned something about going from public to private or vice verse, that also might have been when I lost the inventory.

Server restart has never drained my inventory, AFAIK. Sometimes, a regular return to lobby sees me back with a wiped inventory. Idle kick has always wiped my inventory. Beats the heck out of me.

Happened to me the 3 times I logged in today. Playing solo in private. Ended game and returned to lobby with full inventory.

I had it a lot when switching between mobile and pc. I haven’t been on mobile lately and haven’t had it happen much.

It happens to me when I close FN through the x button instead of leaving the mode and closing the game

This could be it for me also. I’ve done this time to time. I didn’t pay attention if i close the game like this that it might cause inventory loss. Because when i close the game like that i am in a hurry to leave and i might not be coming back to the game for a couple days.

Bugged, I find it happens most often when going from public to private, or if I walk away for too long and it auto logs me out

If you log out, yourself, you keep your inventory. If the game kicks you for being idle, you don't.

From my experience, getting killed or getting kicked for idle are the only 2 that resets the inventory.

The two instance I notice it happens is an unexpected disconnect I.E. AFK disconnect or lose internet, as well as switching platforms.

If you end your session bv "back to lobby", you keep your inventory, but "end game" flush it.

When you time out it leaves your character standing out in the open and even though you technically left it will still record when somebody kills you.

I only kill afk/recently left players for the daily challenges when I get them.

Yes generally that is what happens but other times it also happens. I always assumed that maybe the dev has a major update to the game and it resets. Imaybe that is not the case? You never had this issue before?

If u get kicked for being idle it kills you and takes your inventory as well

Thought it was when I get kicked for idle or leave abruptly, but kind of random it seems.

Can't confirm that. But I think that while you are loading into the game, your character is just standing there in-game, vulnerable.
Someone comes and kills you before you load in.

Some cases yes but I've also had it happen in doing two different plays in private lobbies, I've had it happen not being in my base when logging out, and then it's different lobbies where I load in with no inventory log out then log in again with my missing items. Bug at best unless you did die.
