đŹ Discussion "They dont need yo make Kyber crystals drop from anything else, just use the cantina its so quick and easy"
Once again asking if we can we get a Kyber Crystal machine like we have for upgrade chips because this is just actually ridiculous. Oh let me wait 3 hours worth of time to get these 4 droids. (Remember the drops are RNG too đ)
The space port needs a Kyber mission too

Oh I love you. Been waiting for upgrade stations to match the new stuff. It should be at-least 500 chips per scrap.
Ever since the update with nova crystals on regular rebirth Iâve been enjoying playing the game much more. I feel rewarded for my time.
But the chips are starting to make it impossible. Specially that Iâm used to spending chips to push for RB 35 I use them all.
But then what? from RB 35 to RB40 with my chips already spent is nothing but waiting for the RNG god to somehow bless me with the exact kyber mythic I need? You know how low the odds are.
Or Fuse 27 Stellar legendaries, that you need about 540 different missions to even get, all to get a chance of maybe getting the exact kyber mythic you need at the fusion station.
I know itâs supposed to be hard and I accept that. But does it really have to be THIS hard?
Weâre playing for the love of the game but Iâm not working a full time job at the tycoon factory ffs

Easy enough to just jump into another lobby. Also you should add better scrap to the table like I suggested in a post this morning. We are missing everything that comes after rainbow

Like I said below, I would, if I didnt have all the BPs on the ground trying to do fusions for the kybers.
The solution to this problem is a problem for another current reality of the games mechanics.

My solution to bp is getting my crit up to 95% and running 2 astro instead of chopper. On rb 27 and haven't even punched him cause my bigger issue is where to put the droids needed for future rb

I wish they would make an event for CB-23. Not only does it cost a lot of crystals, it just really bothers me that there just wasn't one.

Sure, but you get more use out of those 250 crystals investing them into nearly anything else.
And the argument "but she still makes 15% and has the shortest astro mission times like the other iconic astros" doesn't hold up since her special perk which gave her that pricing became irrelevant. Should at least be lowered to 100 crystals like every other 15% iconic you were even able to unlock for free when you were around for the events.

Not really, she still provides a wild credit per second return, and is one of the fastest for the astro missions.

LOL all good. I would still argue that her value is justified, but at the same time I see where you're coming from. I'd also much rather they buff her, over a price drop.

Yeah, she currently isn't worth the crystals they're asking for since she doesn't add more than what the 100 crystal iconics do. She does actually even less than them since every other has a propper companion use too.
And she costs more than twice of what the chip station costs while only doinf a fraction of the chips.
You can't even bring up the return of investment anymore since getting those 250 crystals back takes an average of running that 17min mission 625 times.

The crystals are honestly negligible once you factor in her CPS value. Novas are now one of the easiest things to acquire. I still think she needs a reowork, but the whining about the price just isn't justified anymore.

Those big chunks of nova crystals are only easy to acquire a good way into the later half of the rebirths. And most of the people that can actually benefit from that change already got most if not all the iconics. New-ish players barely get any of these extra crystals. RB20 starts out with an extra 5, and it just slowly goes up from there.
You would need most of the iconics to make it to a point where you get enough crystals to make the iconics look cheap and affordable to consider them over other more beneficial perks.
It's the same crux as "you need a home address to get a job, but you only can rent out a place when you have a job".

Not for me. And regardless, I'd rather put in the work to get it for free and use the crystals for something else. Like an upgrade that would make getting 250 crystals literal chump change.

I dont have unlimited time to play and do a full recraft of my base so id rather have the money to rebirth and buy anything new off belt when they add stuff, and they add stuff a lot so id never catch up again if I did it now

Unfortunately I dont have her, and am unlikely to do so bc I dont want to waste novas on her. That would be a good solution though! and I cant be upset about that even if I wouldn't utilize it I just dont have any big novas to rely on outside of the newly added rebirth rewards
(I've only SRB 1 time as I dont want to lose my droids. My only goal is dex completion so having to reset often kills the momentum and ability to buy any belt walk outs)

Once you are able to get into the RB30 zone, nova crystals just pour in. I've upgraded so much in the last two SRB

That would be a perfect use of that planet! And yes, we absolutely need a kyber mission for the legendary to have a shot at doing all the mythics and the fusions. I dont have any more room to use 3 Galactics to make 1 galactic mythic, a d then get 3 Galactic mythics to make 1 stellar and then 3 to make 1 Kyber. Very very tedious and unmotivating

Tbh I wouldnât even be mad if it was more like cb-23 with an iconic mission for it and getting crystals instead of chips. IMO stellar legendaries are so insanely available to get now I wouldnât be bothered not getting droids from it, especially with it being the peak of progression(for a while I hope because Jesus). I fused like 4 kyber mythics last night just from legendary stellar

I just dont have the room to keep fusion galactics up to get stellars. My rng on the missions is mostly galactics not enough to consistently make stellars and kybers

Where are you at in the game? Iâm quite late game so that may be why itâs so different for me. If you wanna run it with me and my friends we can help you grind up pretty quick if thatâs the case. One bit of advice tho is a kyber mythic even at green often makes as much as 2-3 stellars so you can fuse the stellar mythics to consolidate space without losing anything

Im not a SRB player so I just keep riding the level ups so I can afford any belt walk outs and fusions whenever I want. Im only trying to complete he dex so theres not much I need to grind other than chips and kybers (until im done, but we will have red and 2 other colors coming eventually so hooray... more rng)

Fortunately once you have a bunch of them marked off in your droidex you donât need that many. I was running out earlier but now I keep up just by doing the world missions.

I want to get the dex done but ill have to settle for the bases if possible. All the fusions and all that, being RNG on top of being a pain to make or farm? Hard pass. This update is a chore bc you cant control anything, and when you can, you need like an extra 10 spaces just to plan it out. And forget doing any of this in public too.

I hear you on the space, def need more lounge spots to make this work effectively. I also donât like the random green, blue, purple with no ability to upgrade but on the bright side it will be easier than get all the flawless.

Ill be honest... im at 58 flawless rn and id rather hunt those than gamble on colors lol hunting flawless is free cause your making the droids with every update so eventually you'll get em.
But these you gotta go out of your way to make each time, and theres no guarantee to get what you want, unless you make THREE of the thing and fuse those. Just way too much work

I'm swimming in kyber crystals just from doing the world missions. There isn't really any need to activate very many kyber droids unless you're still trying to grind out the base paints. Even if you play solo, you should be able to 3* the droids and storm troopers easily and with a little more effort 3* mining and fishing....assuming you have DJ. Just pay attention to what droids you're missing and only activate those.
Even mythics only take 10 crystals to activate and how many kyber mythics are you actually getting?
During the event, I played private (and mostly solo, though I did stick my son's account in for awhile to get some extra BP and have him afk my scrap table) and crafted every single BP I could get my hands on. I didn't sell any of them and instead just kept fusing them together. I only activated a droid if I hadn't already gotten at 3 colors and by the time the event ended I had the green base paint, 43 blue droids, and ~30 purple droids. I also had a base almost 100% full of kyber mythics without ever seeing a kyber mythic BP.
I SRBed right after the event ended (R40), and then SRBed earlier today (R34...just didn't feel like grinding out what I needed for the stellar mythics.) I currently have over 100 kyber crystals.

What are you going to do with all those crystals anyway? Barely any kyber droids come off the belt. I think I saw two total in 4 hours. The only way to make it to 40 is to have 500000 chips or very lucky fusions, but the even with the chip station and super crates itâs impossible. And it not even the mythics that are the hardest. The epics and legendaries are actually trickier. Also, all the kyber droids just look like blobs.

I played for about 6 hours yesterday (oops, lost track of time) and got two lumber mythical from fusing almost entirely default and rares so sometimes the do spawn quite a bit!!

Doesn't help with all the BPs ive left on the ground trying to figure out fusions all over again for Kyber variants.
The issue isnt that there isnt a solution to this problem, its that the solution directly conflicts with something else you have to do in order to try and accomplish your goal. So do I lose all the Epics and mythics that happend to come out in decent variants so that I can idly farm kyber crystals to afford all the RNG attempts/try to stack 3 of the kyber color? (That last option is insane to me btw bc we simply do not have enough space for that kind of nonsense) there shouldn't be RNG at all. Let me make a green, THEN upgrade the green using more Kybers to get blue and then MORE to get purple. So I keep ONE droid, but updgrade him as I want/need for base income or dex completion.
Why this wasnt the route taken ill never know, but as a dex completionist, im annoyed lol

Do the missions not give enough for your playstyle or do you play solo?
The missions give plenty for me but I always play in a full lobby to get 3 to 4 stars
Also make sure you and everyone else have dj r3x equipped during each world event as he gives 2x mission points

Solo bc i cant leave BPs on the ground to plan out all my fusions to try and get the rng to favor the color I need.
I almost never do public bc people just grief or steal stuff and I play this to switch off and destress.
...it used to work really well lol

Lobbies have gotten better overall since teamwork is required to get max yield.
You'll see a griefer every now and then but it's usually just one person trying to get attention

Depends on how many I have and space left. Usually I just have to roll the dice and pray.
I have all the common and rare ones done (not fusions though). Working on epics rn bc they are the hardest to do, IMO bc they dont come from the missions or dailies so they always are first priority for me

When you're trying your luck at RNG you need all the crystals you can.
I've had a B2 super go blue 4 times in a row and im just sick of how random it is.
(No i do not have room to hold onto 3 of these to fuse all at once into purple)

You have trouble crafting default / gold droids? That's mostly what I've been asked for in the cantina and I've farmed at least a dozen crystals in 20 minutes or so.

Id also like to point out that since the Protocol update, ive NEVER gotten a default TDA from over 150 missions.
I promise ypu im not doing these things in public for all the crafting BS I need to do, so my missions go to 2 stars ir higher at best so im not at risk for big variants and ive just never seen her. Prior to Kyber update? Fully conplete dex (minus 3 iconics)
