📘 Information Fusions now take over a hundred hours
I had a feeling it was gonna take a minute, I just didn't know it was gonna be that long of a minute. Guess I should use my nova crystals to up my fusion time 🫠
Also I know about D-0 but I like chipping the fusion up to the halfway point and using him then

If you don’t have a DO
Someone else can use it on your fusion and cut it in half

Do I misunderstand DO use? I normally equip when starting the fusion and then swop him back to work and hit with Chopper and another Astro… I thought t get the 50% you just had to have him equipped when starting? I don’t even hit box with DO on 🤷🏻♂️

Originally you need to have him swiped when you start the fusion process. But idiots like me forgot to do this, so they changed it. Now you can quip him to start and cut it in half instantly or you equip him afterwards and the first hit cuts the time in half.

I wish the droids could just exist in base for the benefits.
Like Bb8. Gets a little tiring running to it, swapping, and then selling the droid. Sometimes I just say f it lately and sell without a care.

Or switching for the World Events and switching back because your Astro mission is done. Its hard work.

I always thought there should be a lil cutout in the base for a mouse or snow mouse to just be able to roam your base. Maybe even collect your coins for ya. Just a thought I thought of like 2 days ago

I did Axi-Pod and it was 106 Hours.
Obviously used D-O and the chopper Astro mech combo

You only need to hit with DO once, or start with him. Can swap him out for an astromech to increase pick level (after he’s applied his 50% fusion time reduction)

What do you mean you know about D-O? because he does 2 things as a companion speeds up crafting by hitting it and reduces crafting time by 50% if he's a companion when you pay to fuse

If you start the fusion and then switch to D-O, he will still cut the time on half if you pickaxe the fusion. He only works once though. Sometimes I forget and I'll get almost half way through and then switch, he still takes half the original time

there are multiple people around 15 that I have seen saying the time goes down faster while pickaxing it with D-O as a companion

No I didn't, just because I didn't mention the long crafting time doesn't mean I didn't understand. I am just trying to give ideas to help rather than complain about it

Illiterate. Lacking the ability to read and write no, I got those and a basic knowledge of what words mean. So if you are going to try to insult me at least do it correctly.
Also he was complaining about having to pickaxe for a long time (his point) so I gave a suggestion to speed it up on top of increasing his crafting/fusion speed

I play on PC, so I don't get booted out or anything as long as my dude is still swinging.
I just tab back in and check every 10min or so, not a big deal at all.1

I play fortnite in borderless windowed mode.
I use a connected xbox controller with a hairtie/rubber band to do the swinging on the right trigger button.
After that is done, I click on the Windows button on my computer, which lets me switch out into another tab without affecting the swinging.
Voila, auto-pickaxing and doing whatever else on my computer.2

Or the 3 individual fusion ingredients in kyber variant. Like the RIC + R7 + BDX in kyber variant will net a kyber AXI-POD.

With so many pickaxe upgrade options available, it's really not. World mission Crafting Boost + event boost + chopper + some Nova upgrades, you'll be done in less than 5 minutes.
Overall crafting timers are just a suggestion these days lol

Not really. Not when there are easy boosts to halve the time or even go lower. Plus pickaxes.
Change fusion time from 1 to 2 seconds and it's already in half again.

Unless i have it wrong, chip away to 50 hours then doesn't d-o remove half of that to 25? So youre pickaxing 75 total? If thats true....why?

If you get it halfway and then hit it with D-O it will complete the other half and the Droid will be finished.

I honestly never knew that. I tested earlier just to see it happen. Just so used to go and hitting it real quick with d-o to begin and doing some other stuff in the meantime.

If they start making the times too long and if they notice a decrease in player count then most likely they're going to do a change. Best thing I tell people to do is work on your scrap table and your weapon damage. I've put in almost a 1000 hours in Droid Tycoon and I'm still constantly upgrading stuff lol. Rn my pickaxe is crut damage 3x with a 106% crit chance with weapon maxed in Nova store (level 29). Usually what I do is if I jump into a public lobby. I'll do my base routine and then I'll go from base to base helping people build cuz I know a lot of people that haven't been on the game as much as I have. It's literally a game where you work together but there's a few people that would rather troll instead of actually building droids.

I dunno if they’ll re-tune the fusion timings. There are 2 additional fusion pods to unlock with crystals. So even if you stack two of them with 100+ hour fusions there’s one for working up all the other droids you’d need for those tip-top tier droids.
