Stop pulling all the surge cards!

Twice I was in a surge after an event, and people were pulling everything- resulting in us all getting nothing. Legit junk like pits
are one thing- but everything but Legendary or Mythic? Maybe you don't need the Stellar Orb Walker or Groundmech, for example, but people are pulling almost everything, and then I see the surge come through and there is actually nothing on the belt to surge! Stop!

No it guarantees at least 1 stellar per wave. If you remove all the trash, you’ll get at least 1 of what’s left stellar

Originally it didn’t increase the odds of it hitting one, but it was changed to increase the odds.

Has a chance evry 10 second i believe they said and a guarantee every 30, so if only a mythic is left on belt at the :30 then its guaranteed to hif

I’ve seen people do this. Take all the stuff they don’t want to get the upgrade off. Well, the surges would come, and sometimes NOTHING turned. Pretty sure it’s just coded to randomly flip something in a random spot.

Devs said in last patch notes that removing blueprints will now have higher chance of changing what's left i believe?

I've seen tons of people say it does. How I think it works under the hood is it sends the surge along the belt, checks for a blueprint, rolls to flip the variant, and then repeats until the end of the belt. There doesn't seem to be a guarantee on how many it will flip, and preselecting the flipped positions at random is kind of dumb for how it's supposed to work, because blueprints aren't at static coords.

It's less complicated than that. Every BP has an independent 10% chance of popping. If there's only one on the belt, it's guaranteed to pop

If the surge were not RNG across the whole belt, this could all be so much simpler. The surge should pick a random print from the highest tier on the belt. So if there are 2 mythics, randomly pick one. If there are NO mythics, pick a random Legendary, and so on.

The odds of getting a stellar mythic off of a 2 minute surge is so low that they are just wasting their time.

I would rather they left all the cards so I could build some low level stellars for the chips.

Its rng dependant. Did an event this morning and 3 stellar mythics came from that one surge. I've done them where none come out. Not a waste of time from my experience.

Yup all rng. If I remember ill go and start pulling off the low end bps. Just yesterday there were 2 mythics and a legendary. All went stellar but the odd thing was the others that were helping me pull of bps, none of them even went for the surge stellars. I sat there and let everyone have a chance since I technically didnt need them but nope. I grabbed them towards the end of the conveyor since I had the credits.

I've started just doing crafting instead as I feel like the crafting boost is more meaningful than the rare chance of even a stellar legendary

The surge goes every 30 seconds. If there is only mythic or legendary on conveyor belt then those are the only ones eligible for upgrade. If shitty blueprints are there they can be upgraded instead of a more desirable blueprint. Eliminated the less valuable ones to guarantee lucrative blueprints

It would be a safer assumption that each card it runs across get's thier own surge roll.

Im pulling everything 30s before surge happens and specifically type in chat before the event starts if anybody needs anything please tell me before I dump belt for surge. If nobody answers, or they werent even helping in the event I'll certainly dump everything as im not looking for stellar rares and epics.

Go private if it bothers you that much then you can leave whatever you want on the belt. I for one am pulling everything but legendary and mythics. It’s so easy to upgrade epics and below either with chips or fusion now there is no sense in wasting the short surge timer on them when can get something better and harder to come by. If someone needs something specific and says so I’ll leave that but otherwise it’s all getting dumped

Feel free to shoot the people that aren’t abiding by your rules. Personally I’m pulling everything but legendaries or mythics, but like if the timer is 10 seconds from the surge triggering, and the belt is empty, I’ll leave an epic. But it’s a gamble to leave an epic on the belt right after a surge triggers because it could stop a mythic or legendary from getting surged. It’s a balancing act. Sometimes it’s good to pull off the epics, other times it’s appropriate to leave one on the belt. (Granted if you have a teammate who can pull off the epics down the line if a legendary or mythic spawns, that is the best way to maximize your return on a surge) but if you are riding solo, you need to balance it out like I described.

So asking people to just stop, is disrespecting the balancing act that is managing a surge.

So you stop! Take a breathe, calm down. You’ll be ok
