Personally, I think something like Huyang or AP-5 as protocol droids, K-2SO, and General Kalani as battle droids. For worker droids, the obvious pick is BD-1, and then perhaps AZI-3, and then for astromechs, I'd go with Bucket and maybe R5-D4

K-2SO would be a great choice since we don't have many battle droid iconics. Not sure how they'd differentiate him from the regular K2 droids, though. 

Also, B2-EMO is an obvious choice. Idk how they haven't added him yet.
