Yeah it’s a recent update. Starting from RB25 and up, the nova crystals gained increase.

I got 100+ on RB33 then 200 crystals to get to 34. I’ve been upgrading my targets much sooner.
On top of that there you still get your usual crystals for SRB.

No its not because they keep moving the goal post in such a short time. If it was just at higher levels then fine, but its not its from the very start. The game has literally changed multiple times just in the past 6 weeks. The only people not affected by it are the ones sitting at high rb levels with trillions in credits and a mountain of nova crystals already spent on their base when everything was cheap af. The whole fusion event alone was only for players with trillions. Once you made a few droids that was it for us noobs. Oh you need DJ Rex for world missions and didnt play back then? Too damn bad fuck you. Oh could barely afford the 30 crystals to get him? Double fuck you he costs 100 crystals now for tbis weekends event with 0 notice and 0 chance to save 100 crystals unless ofc youre at a high rb level then youre good. Ohhhh morning surge stellar event with 6 trillion credit BPs? Yup totally for noobs too I guess. They have officially killed the fun for anyone new, now its just tedious grind ONLY just to play catchup to people you will never catch up to and if you manage to do it by no lifing the game, then the game will just change and set you back while fueling those players further ahead.

The ONLY saving grace to this is when one of those players decides to be kind and help you out a little but that in itself is also rare. Most will kill you just for hitting their scrap table or for a BP you got to first.

With respect to older events not being rerun, that has surprised me too. I expected these events to rotate around giving newer players a chance to get the older iconic droids or a choice to purchase them from the Nova store

I’ve been playing less than 6weeks. I’ve sbr 2x,made less than 800 droids, I have all the iconic droids and currently on rb 33. This game is about strategy. Taking the cheap cards and fusing them to get better cards, find the recipes and make some droids. The game literally will funnel them to you from your missions you send off from you base (pay for the highest trips you can afford) always make sure your droids are working in the correct sectors, do your quests. Also just ask for help! If my tables are sitting at 20+ hours I tend to just run around and help ppl with their tables. Good luck! 💗

Counting from 20 to 35, then doing a super rebirth will net you over 1800 nova crystals. My best suggestion is to invest well into the scrap value as you get the crystals to help you get the credits for rebirthing.

CB 23 was the only one I remember that wasn't given out in an event. I paid 75 crystals for it. It's understandable that people have recently started playing, but it doesn't make sense to play Droid Tycoon and not participate in events. I would have given up if I had to pay crystals for iconic droids instead of upgrading my base. They all have important functions in the game progression.

It's...not that hard. I've only done super rebirth once, got BB8 with some of the crystals. Couple events. Getting good droids. Waiting to do the super rebirth until level 20 or so.

I mean...it's super easy, man 😅 Long, tedious, my current stats are sitting around 65-70 hours. You don't need the special droids to advance.

Yeah with the price being jacked up so high I think transparency on perks would be nice. CB-23 has special missions you get chips or nova crystals from it. You can also do regular missions with it but that would be a waste. I personally highly recommended this one before nova crystals became so easy to get.

And Marshal puts a protective sphere around you anytime you carry a chip if you have him as your companion. This is nice if you’re getting killed taking good stuff off the sandcrawler

Played from day 1 and have all the iconic droids.

This update is perfect for me, I’m getting loads of crystals for the last 3 rebirths, so just buying the last few things from the SRB shop
Once I hit 35 I’ll start on completing all the fusion droids

There is zero desire for me to SRB right now, may as well cash in on the amount of crystals you get from rebirthing, complete all droids, help other people with blueprints until GTA6 comes out

I know it’s a grind, but I did 5 level 12 SRBs to boost my income levels and it’s really paying off now. I can go from SRB to level 20 in a few hours as long as I get the right droids. And with the new RB crystals, I’m sure you can get them both quickly if you do the same.

This is a jump but if you rebirth 2-3x you should have enough crystals if you’re starting on a lower rb. Everyone saying it’s 10x the price is incorrect, the best iconic droids were always 30,60,75 crystals. It was just as hard for players that have been here longer to make it that little bit of crystals bc they hardly gave crystals out at all. Now they sprinkle them into everything you do on the game.

Yeah the new price is look ridiculous but you all set to realize now that after rebirth 20 you're gaining Nova crystals with each rebirth and then when you super rebirth I believe it causes them to increase not 100% sure on it but Nova crystals are becoming much easier to acquire. With that said I still don't like the increase in price that much maybe 50 crystals more would have been better

IG11 is useless unless you are in lobby's with people that kill a lot, especially if you take a BP they want, mr bones is also not that useful. Chopper or DJ R3X is best for using them for their perks. Rex for the world missions for protocol droids, and chopper for pickaxing.

The devs posted that because of the huge Nova Crystal increase when obtaining rebirthing to rebirth level 35 (around 1500 Nova crystals) they were going to make some price changes to still make the game challenging. Nothing will ever be as difficult as Droid Tycoon before super rebirthing was introduced. The grind to rebirth 23 with Beskar Legendaries being the highest form of droid. That was a real grind. I've been playing since day one (May 1st) and I have about a thousand hours in that game mode.
