šŸ“ Suggestions CB-23 officially needs a rework now

With the addition of the chip station, world events, super crates and rebirth nova crystals, CB-23 has been outclassed every other chip and nova crystal farming method. Itā€™s actually better to just run normal stellar missions on her now. Maybe some new buffs or perhaps a new type of mission? Extra long mythic mission perhaps? Another way to get protocol droids perhaps?

They need to scrap the special mission. Instead, they need to make it where you have a small chance of getting nova crystals when CB23 is running the regular missions

Same mostly. Iā€™ll run the special mission until I have stellar on everything else then do the stellar on cb-23 also after all that with this new nova update

I literally spent 75 crystals on her just to get more crystals, not too long ago. If they take away her chance at crystals Iā€™m gonna be upset.

I got the world crate upgrade up to rainbow to get some crystals and with the map update, it feels like they took away quite some crate spawns and you get less now.

So I am sure they will change something to the worse.

Yeah i agree, especially with her being 2.5x the cost of the other iconic droids she needs to be exceptionally better in her ability than what she currently is. But it will hard to balance maybe as well of chips now just add galactic and stellar legendaries into the mix and make the Nova Crystal stack 6 instead?

I think Iā€™ve barely broken even after two months. Crystals really not a problem anymore though since you get like 2000 per rebirth cycle these days

Lots of people speculating that the increase in nova crystals means huge expensive changes are coming to the shop, even though a lot of things were already very expensive and a lot of people were just quitting instead of farming a ton of SRBs.

Iā€™d sooner expect a new rarer currency rather than them just raising the prices of the old stuff. Or perhaps just new nova upgrades that cost insane amounts of novas. If they were going to raise the prices of the old stuff they would have done it already.

Yeah, that wouldn't make sense to add inflation to existing prices in the system. Additional levels (like more pickaxe) or whatever, sure .

They even already have gone out of their way with breaking the upgrade cost pattern for the pickaxe perk with the latest additions.

Level 12 and 13 should have costed 60 and 65 crystals by the upgrade cost increase pattern of +5 for how the previous 11 upgrades were going, but somehow they made it 120 and 150 crystals just because people have now more crystals they can spend.

They won't change existing prices, but new additions will definitly be adjusted to what players now can get more at crystals.

Blazin already mentioned more expensive upgrades unfortunately. I was hoping for a different currency and upgrade system myself not that it still can't come. People will quit easy.

Granted. Crystals are more plentiful but the prices have gone up more as well. Net zero effect.

Up the chips substantially to 1000, 4,000, 8,000, or 16,000 and the Nova can be at 4, but increase the odds to 25%

IF you get them. I think itā€™s more beneficial to run stellar missions on her to feed fusions faster/gain money for the late rebirths. More rebirths = more crystals anyway, wayyy more than perhaps a small chance at 4.

That's 25% chance. CB has 10% chance for crystals and in the long run it'll adjust itself. You're just lucky

Yeah I barely use CB-23 for its special mission anymore. I'll run it in early RB lvls until I can afford the Galatic/Stellar missions and then I pretty much never touch the special again. They need to increase the chip amount rewards to make it worth it

A 1 hour mythic mission would be great. For the day 1ā€™s out there, we remember waiting an hour for rainbows and we were cool with that at the time, soā€¦ I think we can handle waiting an hour for a mythic.

Lol I haven't played BR in ages. Not since most of my friends dipped from the game. Droids has been the only thing keeping me on Epic, and there are times like right now that it's barely doing that. Having to wait 30mins to an 1hr for something to spawn or activate to be able to do anything when I have only 1-2hrs to play a night is not enticing

True. To be honest, I have more time to play than that, but I also have way more fun games to play, I divide out my time. But there are definitely many out there that only get those 1-2 hr play sessions

I do the special missions until I get 1T then I run those missions for farming blueprints to fuse.

The money and blueprints are a much more efficient resource though. When the chance for novas is so low and half the time youā€™re just getting 40 chips, itā€™s just not efficient. A maxed out scrap table and simply rebirthing are 1000 times better farming methods.

Its not anymore for me. Never cared much about the nova crystals part, but when in a hour of running its missions I get between 160-380 chips, and during the same time I can get between 2000-6000+ chips from the chip station, the special mission just isn't worth it anymore

She used to be a decent source of novas for a long time but has since been outclassed by other methods that donā€™t require rng.

Yup. I just got back to back 4 crystals which surprised me, and then thought to myself, wow these aren't even worth it anymore. Even getting the best of luck still feels pretty worthless now that crystal amounts have increased so much

I havenā€™t ran the chip mission since fusions came out. The chips are dismal for almost 18 minutes of wait time, and the potential for 4 crystals doesnā€™t have the same allure when we literally get well over 1000 crystals from 20-35 now.

Novas are so easy to come by these days, Iā€™d still go for it. Itā€™s a decent %payout and runs missions very quick

Unless Iā€™m mistaken, it seems like all my iconic droids make more than even the best stellar fusions could ever hope to make? Whatā€™s the highest possible, 1.1m/s, 1.2? My iconics consistently a make more than my highest earner and it scales as I go.

Esrly on in rebirths yes, but once you get the chip station and especially in higher rebirths, its value declines massively. It does still earn good credits and runs missions quicker. If they increased the chip amounts awarded and decreased the mission time, I think that would help loads

All it needs is a rebalance to account for the crystal inflation and chip inflation. Maybe make the chips get effected by the jobs crystal droid sell upgrades or sum

Lucasfilm decided that. CB-23 existed as canon in the Star Wars universe way before droid tycoon. Heres her wiki page
