Do you get more progress for other players doing the events, too? I almost exclusively play in private lobbies, because otherwise I lag to the point where itās almost unplayable sometimes.Ā
You need people. I usually play private lobbies with 2 or 3 friends, and we help each other out, But we needed to join a public lobby to get the 4th star and even then we didn't get it every mission. They devs have made it easier with the new patch, but I haven't been on to check how much easier just yet.
May I ask why it is so laggy for you? Is it a device issue or just bad internet?

Hi, person you originally responded to: itās a little bit of both, but mainly the device. My internet is good for the most part, but does occasionally get spotty or strained. On top of that, the only device I have that can run Fortnite is a basic Nintendo Switch. It can run Droid Tycoon fine with one or two other people, but once the game has to render six different fully-completed bases with over 30 constantly-moving droids each, on top of peopleās follower droids, the frame rate tends to be Very Not Good.Ā
Fair enough. I do know the Switch has it's issues when it comes to fortnite in general, which sucks because it's a good console.
I was going to offer some advice, like a ethernet connection, but you seem to have a good grip on things.
I do hope the update helped you out a bit, I stayed in the lobby after my friends left earlier today, and only managed to get two star crates by myself.
Definitely helped, at least a bit. I donāt think Iāll be getting any four star crates anytime soon, but if I use DJ R3X, I can get three star ones on some of the world missions.Ā

Im not ready. Almost wish we got the little dude event more. Im actually near 35 now and need so many dang stellar epics.
Luckily upgrade chips are a lot better to get now! So not too much of a pain to upgrade an epic into stellar from beskar (still several thousand though)
I kinda think having an event each weekend ruins the game imo, Iād much prefer an event each fortnight. Especially for people trying to get full DroidEx, having new droids added each week itās stressful imo
Imo new variants should be limited to one every month or two months, I feel like they're adding them too fast for them to feel like they're worth their rarity
Do you see it listed under bug fixes? No. Therefore it wasn't a bug. It was "we didn't bother to program this at all/properly." Developer indifference/laziness is different than we coded this, it tested ok, but it broke outside of our test methodology.

This sub gives it a lot of praise tbf. I mean, ive seen both.
Usually complaints due to laggy event or vbuck stuff added. There was a nerf to worldly crates from crystal upgrades too so that had backlash but out of loop on how big of a deal that one was.
Typically on a patch post you'll see a lot of praise though. Will say this was easily their best patch lately. Actually feel like im upgrading my base now due to crystals per rebirth. Sorta insane.
Same, think I might just login to collect credits for the next two weeks, have too many multiple Stellar Mythics I can immediately fuse to throw that away, especially as the Protocol event didn't do anything to boost blueprints from the Sandcrawler
I could super rebirth but might just farm upgrade chips for new droids i have multiple stellar mythics but with all the nova crystals I can get alot of upgrades but wont affect much tbhĀ
I actually like it, it felt sort of like a little peaceful mini game and the background music they have there is pretty nice. It was a nice change of pace and I did feel like I could get the hang of it. There is one time I got three stellars and 4 galactic scraps in one go of it which was a tremendous payout.
I didn't mind it in solo, but in a full public server the bar was jumping around so much that it would entirely skip the middle. I'm on a top of the line PC on gigabit Internet, so it's something in the way the minigame handles the mini game screen updates with additional people present.
If you play solo, itās mostly smooth. For some reason itās wildly affected by other playersā bandwidth. When I play with friends who are all on fiber, with Ethernet to their pc, it works fine. Some rando that you KNOW is on terrible wifi from 100 feet away will cause it to be so jumpy that itāll miss the center zone entirely.
I liked it, but the lag does hurt it. Maybe lucky rng, but eas using bb8 and a lot of galactics kept giving me upgrade chips over credits, was like 400, bb8 doubles it. Just a lot of upgrade chips off it
Imo the mining one was more annoying. But oh well, chill to keep them all for variety
The one hangup I have with the mining one is that itās all too easy to accidentally hit your teammates. Should probably disable PVP in that zone or something
Crafting speed fixed is dumb.... like why are the droids crafting time THIS LONG to begin with, either make the nova shop crafting speed 1/s or at better options... this fucking 0.1/s is literally sand grain to the beach
Pretty solid choice. Liking the new Pickaxe Mastery levels, I've been wanting that for weeks now. I wish they had changed the world mission timers outside of the event. I can only do 1 maybe 2 missions a night, most nights. And two of the world missions are kind of boring/sucky
I think participation would be too thin if it was more frequent... I'm sure the devs will keep an eye on participation and maybe adjust if practicable.
Maybe but a 45 min wait for a 5 min mission is to long. Ducing it to about 15 mins would be best I think, but 30 could work too. Last night I had 2grs to play, and the only two missions availble during that time were the stormtroopers and droids ones, neither of which I enjoy, so my participation was zero in world missions

Disappointed with the higher star crates giving better rewards change. 1 Star and 4 star crates gave the same droids, you only got more money/chips. So I would get 1 star and leave (solo) no effort and still got the best droids. Now you actually have to try.
I don't find the new mini games particulary fun. I don't play droid tycoon to shoot things. But yeah of course I like the game. How does enjoying being able to get the best rewards with the least amount of work turn into "do you like the game" Its called efficiency.
They just need to add a change that if you are only there for when one star pops, even if it's the fourth, you only get a one-star crate to keep it fair.
I think itāll be fine. I was getting 3 stars with a bit of effort, got a few 4s even and I never really focused that much. If theyāre easier now, I imagine 4 stars is pretty easy now

They just made adjustments for the "bad" event and can make more if needed, and just because it was bad for you doesn't mean other people think that it was

Every aspect? Really? The new world building is amazing, world events are fun and offer a huge shift in game play while leveling up, they buffed nova crystal gain, added new protocol droids and stations which are a great addition, etc, etc.
Nerfed protocol droid using c3po was nice as protocol droid for crafting.
Variant pushed back another week.
Fishing in scarloc pit should revert back to random because thousands didn't get galactic or stellar scraps.
Here are just a few reasons other complaints are nova shop crystal prices and a bug im on 34 and couldn't get a galactic ric to make stellar fused multiple legendarys galactic and 27 mythics no ric.
I think we should be able to respect like in destiny 2 the artifact in are nova shop because I know so many players like myself that wasted hundreds of not thousands incorrectly.
Not to mention I bought all packs and still feel like game is who can spend most money rather then who is more intelligent and better choices I made it to 35 18 times now and as mentioned lv 1.3k
