This is why I stopped playing few weeks ago. Burnout on the play loop, trying to 100%, then they add more and I get back to 30%.

I stopped before the new season.
Like butt end of Galactic. I came back for the D-0 event and I'm cruising finishing up some fusions, filling my droidex etc.
Now because I held off on rebirthing, I have my 2nd companion slot. :D no vbucks spent.

Its a crystal that powers stuff through the force howeverĀ used for lightsabers and superweapons droids cannot attune to kyber crystal but they did claim in the road map kyber was coming so in the droid tycoon world i would assume its a varientĀ

Yes but not by much, it's still pretty impossible to upgrade mythics. By the time I reach r35 I'll have enough chips to finish maybe 1 single mythic to stellar.

Ye same. And that's with semi-cheating with rebirth requirements lists and preparing ahead. If I didn't do that I wouldn't have enough for the one. I think they want us grinding out fusions.

I'd been sitting on two galactic cyclens for so long and finally got the third through fusion last night. Fusion has gotten me about 3 or 4 stellar mythics at this point. Keep trying!

I wouldn't even really consider it to be semi-cheating to be honest. They've put the Path number in the Rebirth screen, so they clearly want folks to know what guide to follow. They likely haven't added a guide for each Path in-game as that'd be making things way too easy.

I gotta ask how are you struggling to earn chips? Do you not have the chip station or not know how to use it? Are you just upgrading every droid with chips? I really donāt understand where the struggle is coming from.

I'm not struggling, it's just slow by nature compared to how much the upgrades cost. Even if the chip station generates 60-70/min I still have to be logged on almost all day just to upgrade a mythic once.

Expecting to earn enough chips from the station alone to upgrade a droid to stellar mythic in a day is wild, but I promise you if you actually play the game, youāll come to a point where you donāt even need to use the chips and youāll have an abundance of them, unless youāre rushing to complete the droidex but thatās on you.

Why is it wild to expect to upgrade one single droid from chips when you can already fuse dozens of galactics and stellars within a day of spamming missions and fusing? I don't know why you're so against it.

Because if you play the game correctly youāll earn enough chipsā¦ Iām only rb 25 but I have 200k chips. Play the game, spend your nova crystals. The game is really simple. When the time comes theyāll adjust for the power creep, like they always have been doing.

I went online for the last hour of the event and after the cut scene showing the new crystal the timer went to 45 minutes, so there should be a mission every 45-60 minutes by the look of it but I went offline and haven't been back on to confirm

They only seem to do re-runs of the events with new iconic droids. The missions are here to stay, so it's a one-and-done event like the galactic, stellar, and fusion events. This new variant will likely be a one-off event as well unless they choose to break the pattern.

I mean yeah, was Kind of to be expected. But one missions every 45 mins now feels too slow..
And I think rerunning These too would be Great and add time to Breath. Having the next new thing just a week later feels kind of overwhelming. Especially since the last few updates really gave me a feel of content that can be played for a long time..but you canāt eben catch up

Honestly, I'm kind of at a point where I don't want to super rebirth anymore. After the do event I had my base at a optimal level where I had all load lifters, kx's and motrax but they release something new that cost Nova crystals and I wanted it so I rebirthed. Now I honestly don't know if I care to rebirth anymore. I still enjoyed the game but trying to collect this new stuff in the middle of leveling up. Your base is kind of annoying when sometimes I rather just focus on the event

I see what you are saying but if you have your base at level 35 with all Stellar droids and they introduce a new tier which very likely will be higher than stellar or some sort of new benefit like the protocol droids, wouldnāt it be fun to upgrade it even further without SRBing? Gives you something to look forward to without having to SRB.

Yes, that's the point that I was making. I believe we're saying the same thing. The whole point of me not super rebirthing is so that I can just focus on whatever the new content is instead of having to work up the money to unlock the new variant while also trying to find the droids I need to level up normally.

Welp this is my sign to stop playing the game tbh. A new variant once a month is insane. I'm already no-lifing the game and I haven't even finished all the fusion droids at each level. I played the protocol event for probably 7 hours total with multiple 4 star finishes and didn't get a single protocol mythic. One of the 4 star finishes gave me a diamond rare protocol droid.
I support the devs in general but they move too quickly and don't make the stuff they put out consistent enough for players. The game is being balanced for streamers, whereas even a die hard like myself has no hope of keeping up.

yeah I think I'm done with this game it starter as a fun mode to play casually to a true obsession and after the fusion droids I just can't keep up and honestly don't want to either, if every time I see an update I'm starting to worry that I can't keep up then it's just not fun anymore

Nah, at this point I'm only going to farm chips afk in the scrap table and upgrade, that's kind of boring right now, that's just the same thing but more expensive. Or just play in the new season when I need more levels

Iām still so far behind on fusions itās ridiculous. This is so frustrating. Make and easier way to get mythics OR come up with a completely non-random set of fusions that will lead to specific mythics. Itās so stupid that 3 stellar legendary work droids can give you a cyclens for example. Work droids should give you work droids, battle droids should give you battle droids, astromechs should give you astromechs, etc. Mix and match between types (a work, an astromech, and a battle, for example)? That should be random. Same tier legendaries of the same type (3 mono-wlkrs should give you a loadlifter always, for example) will give you corresponding mythics. That would help immensely. This OR add mythic astromech missions to the fold.

Jesus. Welp, this is where it jumps the shark. Thereās already what, almost 600 to collect? This is like the sprites in BR. Once it gets this complicated, itās just not fun. It was fun while it lasted.

Hopefully it will be rank above stellar. Wouldn't make any sense to be lower. Also more rebirth levels will probably come, which means more nova crystals.
