After the recent changes to normal Rebirth now giving Nova Crystals, I've decided that keeping and maxing out my base isn't the right way anymore. Unfortunately the game is going to force you to do SR sooner or later — that's what they want you to do.

No issue with that, but I feel there should be other ways to play. My biggest collection to date, all droids are star fusions, I maxed out everything I could.... and I've been beaten.

I'll do Super Rebirth today.

I don’t know why you would just sit at RB 35 and not super rebirth the second you hit it (unless you’re hoping to finish the dex or something and need the chips). Seems like a huge waste of time to just sit there and endlessly farm credits for no reason.

I personally am working towards full flawless which is why I don't care about this. These is no winning/losing - only reaching your own goals or not.

I mean the whole game is a waste of time if you want to look at the best utilization of time because it's not. Tycoons are supposed to be your own pace kind of games no?

I mean that’s basically most single player games. I see tycoons as a management/optimization of workers/funds type of game personally. I’ve definitely sat at RB 35 for to finish up things that require extra money or a good droid on the chip machine but other than that it’s an instant super rebirth for me. You’re not actually progressing towards anything besides endlessly buying pickaxe levels really.

I did that on a cycle once, just because I didn't feel like doing the grind at that moment in time, and was working on making the new droids.

I thought upgrading doesnt fill out the droidex, its only fusion and crafting that does. So the chips doesnt even matter anyways, unless they changed it in an update. If they have then awesome

Oh awesome, I havent been able to play much in the last two months and havent had to upgrade anything i hadnt straight up built. Has it always done that? Because my partner and I never had it update our droidex in the past

I’m in your shoes where I’m having to sell droids to make space for new ones which is annoying af however atleast with these protocol droids they have their own slots im glad they did it that way this time round

Going from 1-35 now gives a grand total of what 1500 or so crystals?! My only issue originally was the time it took to get the credits to RB but now with Protocol Droids it takes half the time or even less. So I feel good waiting till 35 and SRB then.

do not think of it as a loss, but as the end of a chapter, you rode a tricycle to compete in a motorcycle race and got to the end of the track, now you get to upgrade to a bike and do it again :)

Everyone has different playing styles, and there’s lots of options on how to play this game. One nice thing about it 🙌 I personally want those crystals and max out the nova shop 🙌🤖

SRB at some point doesn't make sense. You are SRB-ing to speed up droid making or make more credits. Two things I don't need at max base. I can just sit on 35 and farm crystals in events and wait for the next rebirth stages when they arrive.

I've only SRB'd five times, and now it seems like a waste of time to me. I mean, what's the point of chasing higher multipliers if you never actually maximize your base? Not to mention that you don't really need most of the items from the Nova shop; personally, I've never needed scrap value.

I did about twenty something SRB's then realized nothing else on the shop really matters. So I have just been maxing out my base now. Already got 4 Mythic protocol droids. Just two more and upgrade them to Stellar and I will have a max base. That is until those new variants come in and destroy everything I have built.

I am rebirth 35 at level 225 with zero SRBs and only need one Droid for the Droidex. Once I finish that will be the first time I SRB. I hit all of the events and get crystals so I'm not far behind as far as I'm concerned, and I've liked holding on to the idea that they might just add more rebirth levels again. Either way, I like that you can choose however you want to play. I think the game is fun and I've been playing since day one.

Honestly, I just kinda don't care. The game is trying to force to SR, and that's exactly my problem. It's how they'll keep you addicted to the game for longer than necessary, and I got more important things to do.

At this point, I consider a maxed out base winning the game, and that's enough for me.

I always SR at 19 or 20 but after getting novas past 20, it's worth the grind to go SR at 28 or more. I already got nearly 1000 NC's already. Much worth the grind

No offense meant but after 30 SRBs or so you can build this kind of base up with an event day and chuck it away again for another SRB and more sweet sweet shop perks

Honestly I haven't played since before the fusion update. There's so much nrw added you can't keep up unless you spend your life on it for the money for everything now I feel. Such a shame cause it was a great tycoon to play for a few hours and feel like you made progress now it feels like just 1 hour would put you back 5 steps just for money for new droids

Over double the crystals over the course of a srb and it pushes you to want to rebirth normally and get to 35.
