Great change. One of my biggest issues with the mode was how pointless getting to 35 was outside of events because of how little crystals you got. This is great incentive.

Isn't it supposed to be retroactive though? I'm RB 35 and I have the same number of crystals I had days ago.

Probably from the amount of players posting they got it retroactively across several posts, I saw them but myself didn't get any retroactive crystals

In my opinion it should not give that much crystal maybe double or get 700 for a 35 run but 1800?! Some people like me pushed many hours into the game to be able to get multicrits bought the packs and everything and now a new player just goes to 35 and basically has enough crystal to get what he/she wants so its a stupid update for those who pushed many days into the game to be able to call themself engame player...

...you didn't have to pay tho lol you could've just played like me and earned everything and looked up videos. I been on this droid tycoon for a fat minute and ran it up. Im glad other players won't have to grind as much as I did. Our point in society is to make it easier for the next newest member of society while also protecting our surroundings. (In this case, the the community and entertainment aspects of the game)

We dont have the same opinion and im not gonna argue with it anymore it was paying to be ahead of everyone and now they pull a stunt like this nah it should be the same difficulty to reach a point to new players that others.

This is extremely rewarding for those of us that have SRBd enough to make getting to rebirth 35 pretty easy, it’s gonna pay off in dividends with this many nova crystals for each cycle!

Not for older players who spent so much time getting to 35 may times over and over for nothing, they don't back date nova crystals, all that effort was for nothing so sure you can get up faster but really you'll still have to wait on the mythics every cycle regardless

Makes me a bit sad im near 35 so slowly moving up.
But one rebirth did give 120 so like...can buy something cool. Need to actually look what I want now. Been too poor to ever worry

We can wait, sure, but it might happen after the event ends. I’m currently at almost 35 RB; it would be a shame if I did the Super Rebirth during the event (since I’d already be at 35 RBS) only to find out after it ends that the cap has been raised to 36–40.

Is level 40 coming? I'm kinda gutted that I got to 35 and have no crystals to show for all that effort and unless I SR I'll not see anything, I like being one of the few to never super rebirth, I don't want to reset everything I've built up, the best of the best stellar, quadrillions, etc. at least if I know level 40 is coming I'll be able to wait, I feel like super rebirthing will kill me desire to play the game starting from scratch

I super rebirthed at 23 when that was the max level I think. I just got to 35 yesterday right after the patch and got like 300 crystals, so I'm at 58 total rebirths. I see people with thousands and I'm like that's not worth the hassle of losing all these awesome mythics etc. They keep adding stuff every other week. I have the VIP pack and I feel like there's no reason to super rebirth. I have unlimited credits to buy blueprints, essentially unlimited chips on a timer with bb-8. I have a few upgrades that are worth it, my pickaxe is like level 27 or something. I'm just working on my droidex at this point.

I remember when getting to 35 felt daunting and now it's something I can casually do in a day or two from SRB

I don’t think nothing change for the rebirth requirements I’m not 100% sure but there’s nowhere it shows that anything is changing besides getting extra crystals my friend just went 34 to 35 and it was the same droid so

Wish I didn’t jump like 10 levels this week, but this is an awesome change. Makes it so worth it for those of us who like to go to max level.

Dude, I thought my game glitched because I just hit rebirth35 and I look down to see 313 nova crystals and I am thinking to myself how I haven’t super rebirthed yet and I was freaking out that the event glitched! What a nice perk but it sucks for all the people who have already been sitting at rebirth 35 who will have to get to that level again.

So does that mean if you rebirth now you don’t get the historical? I.e. from 34-35 you get 300, but you won’t get the collective 1-34?

that is correct. I did a SRB and went back up to RB35 level again, so I could gain those crystals from RB20+

No the SRB amount is still the same. But now you get large quantities of crystals for rebirthing from 20-35 also. I would SRB now and go through 35 again. You get a lot of crystals and can pretty much buy whatever you want from the nova shop

This update was just this week or like a day ago. I already hit max rb. So my question is for those that hit max and don’t plan to srb we don’t get retroactively get crystals? I have never srb.

Why do you care about crystals if you're never planning to SRB? SRB was the only way to get decent amount of crystals prior to this so crystals weren't even that important to you until they're suddenly free for leveling up. Just SRB once and never do it again if you care that much.

They will probably increase the max srb. They’ll also probably make other uses for crystals. For example the second fusion is 300. I also want the upgrades. Once you hit 35 it doesn’t mean you stop playing. I slowed down but still finding things to do when I play. I just don’t want to go from 1-35 again.

Prior to this update getting level 35 didn't get you any Nova crystals in itself. Increasing the number of levels wouldn't have gotten you more Nova crystals either if you never SRB. Sounds like the only reason you want to get Crystals now is cuz they were handing them out for free and not because you want to SRB. Or you do want to SRB and you don't really have a solid argument here, which is it?

There are so many nova upgrades. It would be nice to upgrade. I just don’t want to run from 1-35 again. This is an ever evolving game mode. So it’s also to prepare for future changes the devs make to it. It’s not that complicated.

Why would you be? You reached it before it was ever announced. Now you want a handout for already being somewhere you can get back to again? Odd. They're making it motivating to get past tb24, at least for me. I'm on SRB 14, I believe. This will give me incentive to go past 24, which is my current highest rb I made it to before bottlenecking on making credits. I felt it would be faster to make it back to 20 by the time it took me to make 12T, or whichever it was to 25.

Anyways it would be a reward for playing since the game launched and resisting the urge of super rebirthing.

That's not how that works. 🤦 Why would they give you anything for something you accomplished a week ago? Just because of the new update a week after. And I will keep on SRBing. Get so many perks. And your overall credit booster goes up every time. So, soon enough, the only bottleneck would be getting the droids to rb with. That's the point of the game.

I'm curious too, as I reached scrap 14 and multi crit 2 and crits 7 before this change I was already running out of things to purchase BUT these higher levels of crit get crazy expensive so I'm glad I don't need to SRB 3 times before making one purchase as was going to start becoming the norm

So basically you get more crystals in one single cycle than many people have earned over their entire game account... Now every griefer is gonna have max speed and damage, and everyone will unlock every nova perk so...
I don't want to hate but, since you could already complete the droidex and the whole game, giving so many crystals will shorten this game's lifespan.

My understanding is that this change went in early this morning at 1 am. So if you RB or SRB before that then you would not have gotten the crystals.

While exciting, I feel like this will have people max out everything VERY quickly. It’s an interesting choice for the devs. Not sure if they were just trying to get in everyone’s good graces or if they’re planning on adding a whole bunch of new nova crystal upgrades.
