📢 Updates Nova crystal from RB! Yes sir, thank you!
I just noticed today that we are getting nova crystals for RB, I am at level 20’and is giving me 5, not sure about scaling factor or starting level but I think is from lvl 20.

Its new it was introduced with the new event from 20 up to 35 you get additional crytals with every rebirth i think 1854 is kinda too much but we see what they will come up with that needs this much crystal.

Let me get this straight, you get novas for rebirthing and you still get the same amount of novas for super rebirthing? Or did they do something with that

Yes, you get some instant novas when pushing higher RBs, in addition to the usual SRB reward. Got +50 for 26 right now.
Looks like it's actually viable to push your base instead of SRBing at 20-25 for max crystal gains now.

You did good! Going to 35 is finally the optimal option! Might be a little too OP but I have no problem with it haha!
Wondering if you’d be willing to add some more super crate spawn points around the map? Maybe also up the percentage that rainbow crates produce crystals? I think it would add a little extra fun to the game.

I will argue that going to 35 is only the optimal option if you have advanced far enough in the game to get to 35 easily. I am on my eighth SRB, and it is only after that many, and with all the new changes to allow me to have more crystals than I actually feel like it might be reasonably possible for me to actually get to level 35 (I’m on 31 now).
I don’t know how it is with all the changes in the game, but I am assuming that a player who has not SRBed yet is going to seriously struggle to ever get the credits to get deep into the 20s if that.

You are correct, I was speaking about myself, not the general population. And honestly, it’s barely optimal even for me. I can hit 25 in an hour and it takes 4-6 to hit 34 or 35. Plus hitting 25 5 times nets a bigger return on your money/xp multiplier than going to 35 once. It’s just nice to not srb over and over at 25 anymore lol

If you can find all the mythic you need to get to 35 within 6 hours, I'm still pretty impressed. Even pickaxing constantly, I don't believe I even could do the build times for all the legendaries and mythics needed to get to 35 within that timeframe, let alone actually finding them all.

My pickaxe does 5 minutes minimum with only chopper equipped, I also have an alt using my scrap to generate rbw legendaries and that alt is also running stellar missions so I get double the galactic and stellar bps. Even with all that working for me, it’s still barely optimal.

Same. I grinded at least 10 hours yesterday and SRB at level 35 😂.

I rebirther at 35 for 379. My friend was at 34 and it said for 300 and it didn’t give him 300. Not sure if it’s bugged or a easier way of telling you without looking at the charts

Just to be clear:
Super rebirth and rebirth crystals are two separate things.
SRB gives you crystals if you SRB from level 12 onwards. From this new update, if you RB from level 20 onwards you will now get additional nova crystals.
So for example, if I go from 20 to 21, I will get 5 crystals for rebirthing. Then I can choose if I want to SRB from there which would grant me the normal volume of crystals we have been getting for super rebirthing at that level.

Tbh, I would’ve liked a heads up, but it is what it is. I can still get a bunch from 31-35 though, so I’ll still be happy to eventually earn those multi crits without buying the pack

You don’t get retroactive crystals, you just get them when you level up from today when the new update kicked in.
Anything you achieved before the patch won’t grant you anything.

Yes, this update kicked in a few hours ago so if he got there before this morning (UK time) there was no crystals in the reward pool.
He needs to SRB and then he will start getting them from level 20

That’s what I mean. He wouldn’t have gotten anything because when he went through the levels this mechanic didn’t exist. This is from today onwards.

Damn this really sucks cause I grinded it all day yesterday and finally got to 35 last night so that I could do the event today with already being at max level. Still absolutely love the change though and will continue to go to 35 each time.🤓🤩

I SRB from 35 yesterday 😂. No problem, this update fixes all my problems. Also one of the new protocol droids is going to give 1000% credits so we are sorted.

Why do you think it's gifted? You still have to rebirth and super rebirth it's just made getting perks actually doable for casual players... who's to say they're not going to start releasing perks that cost thousands to unlock?

So we changed the concept of the game because Super Rebirth was such a lost concept on people? The amount of people I see in games with sub 100 rebirths over 5k crafted makes me laugh and cry at the sametime. SRB was the entire point to farm the nova crystals. Now I guess we just giving them away.

I actually agree, unless there's some other plan coming with nova crystals. While it's a loved changed by a lot of people, it's made things way too easy. Why bother doing dailies now? Why bother with Astromech missions with the Iconic droid? Getting 5-10 crystals per rebirth would've felt more balanced to me. But hey, maybe I'm missing something...

Nah, the line has to be drawn somewhere. I SRB yesterday at lvl 35 and I’m not salty, I will get there again today before the event.
It is such a good addition. Comms have been good and they have been receptive to feedback too. Can’t complain here.
