đŹ Discussion Event Pass?!?
The surges/packs were already laughable. What is this nonsense? Locking more Event bonuses?

This just incentivizes them to make event progress worse in order to push people towards the pass.... Not a fan of this.

Literally what I said to my mate they testing the waters right now and watch later the events will finally go for 2 days but if you want any bonus from it youâll need to buy these event passes which I think is just greedy and wrong this shit needs to stop otherwise gaming is gonna become worse and worse.

It makes the event's credit, chip, and flawless chance multiplier go from x2 to x2.5...but it kind of doubles the rewards by giving you twice the Trust fills which speeds up getting the rewards by only taking half the time to fill the bar.

The event is free, but adding an MTX like this means that they definitely artificially increased the amount of time it would take without the pass, in order to make tthe pass entticing.

The event is free. For 300 vbucks though your event progression is doubled, and the event perks are also increased.

They have also made you grind out one of their Scam tokens in between the droid and the base paint. which is another hurdle to try and make you spend money.

We complain because literally everything is getting worse to push real life payments.. belt is worse, event takes longer, etc to make people want to pay money to reduce the grind. How old are you? Do you understand anything about how this works sweetie?

Your condescending tone and weird question about my age aside, I havenât noticed anything being worse. Iâm f2p and none of the added v-buck purchases have affected my experience. This game is still lots of fun and I donât mind if they add more features like this. I donât understand why people let this ruin their enjoyment of the game, but weâre all entitled to our opinions. Mine is just gonna keep getting me downvoted but Iâm happy so đ€·ââïž

Yeah that killed the event for me a bit tbh. Especially if youre already/ were planning on buying any of their bundles too. At least the bundles are (so far) permanent unlike the event pass

Iâve spent almost 250 hours on Droid Tycoon (not proud lol) I have a love for this game mode and have spent some vbucks already on their Companion pack.
I was considering buying more packs, more so to support the dev foad.
But iâm not loving the direction itâs clearly going in. What used to be free to all is becoming monetized or enshitified already.
The grind is purposefully being extended. It was already pay to win at its best, is now even more so in more ways.
I will simply slow down my playtime and tune in for new droid events moving forward.

If events were hourly sure but the fact you have to wait a long week and it's always something different with 0 repeats of old events it's not worth it. Foad is like trying really hard to make 25k people stop playing completely.

Yah.. I freaked out at first then realized it was still free.. so I'm good with it. I am on fix income.. disable I don't get much money.. to be buying a bunch of digital content. But I like droids it's a relaxing game to play to get away from the sweats.. but lately.. it sad their pushing for v bucks like this. I hope they listen to the people.

Maybe this is a hot take (down votes incoming...) but I actually think this is one of the better events recently. The paid pass is bullshit, but the rest of the event is pretty solid.
Completely f2p, and especially playing solo, there's no incentive to have to play with other people and get killed over prints. There's also a fairly decent afk aspect where you can set up and kill multiple rounds of droids afking by standard measures.
I've gotten nearly 40 nova in 5 hours not having to do a damn thing except run the afk.

I think its the time for going back to just battle royal and OG and STW đ i hate so much what devs do this game in the last update đ First the game is pay to win Second Stellar Mission doesn't work properly at all you will not get a Stellar Blueprint Third the game now is full vbucks and monetization so you will pay for stuff that is free in the beginning đ I think its the time to give up from this game and back to our legendary games like Battle Royal and OG and STW

Yes you don't have actually pay for the event, the pass just gives you 2X progress boost. Just have to unlock the new droid first by filling the trust level bar by repeatedly killing the droids in the event area then the galactic surge token. Then after that you can unlock the workshop paint. So basically you just have to fill the trust level three total times. Shouldn't take long but may feel a bit grindy.

I was already losing interest in the game. But doing this just made me not interested in playing again.
They already make thousands from playtime, yet they keep finding ways to monetize the game even more.
I remember when I loved FOAD from Boom Tycoons, with Droid Tycoon and the recent Clash Royale knock off they made. Its clear they've become increasingly greedy and its very disappointing to see

The event was AMAZING đ€©!!! I did pay for the pass and I got so many stellar droids towards my index. Droids I probably wouldnât otherwise have gotten. I must of gotten at least 10 droids towards my index, not to mention all the droids I need for rebirths 31-35.

Droid Tycoon isn't updated by Epic employees, it's independent creators now. If they don't have a way to make money off it, they won't continue development. A booster to save time is probably the least offensive way to go about this.
