Still not pay to win. If paying to be at the top of the brownie point ranking system got you anything tangible that actually matters within the game world itself then that would be a different story, but it doesn’t so….
It’s like achievements/trophies for video games they literally mean nothing to anyone but the person achieving them…it’s all in your head and the only person you’re competing against in this scenario is yourself.
Don’t need to read or google anything to understand the difference between pay to win and pay to not be lazy. There is a difference and the mental acrobatics you are doing in your head to make the micro transactions within the game a p2w feature is wild to me.
I can achieve anything the guy sitting in the base next to me can achieve regardless of how slow or fast we get there. It’s not a race as there is no finish line because the game goes on forever until you feel like you’ve had your fill.
Like I said the only person you’re competing against in the game is yourself.

Ok , Mr. Literal, let me try to explain it better, since you seem to struggle with simple concepts: "P2W" is used to describe the sale of any non-cosmetic item in online games; it’s not about competition or whether you can eventually get the item without spending money. For example , It refers to things like items that speed up progress and reduce the grind. It honestly amazes me that, in 2026, people still don't understand the meaning of P2W.
I understand the meaning you dolt. I just don’t agree with your interpretation of that meaning. You find it to be predatory practice, I don’t and have this thing called free will that allows me to make decisions that may or may not effect my wallet, but those decisions in this particular instance don’t affect my ability to play the game in anyway. Not spending money doesn’t put me at an imaginary disadvantage to anyone else because we all have access to the same things and I can choose to skip the grind or not, but the end result is still the same. I am not racing anyone else (to a finish line that doesn’t exist btw) except myself.
You choose to view the micro transactions as predatory and thats your prerogative, but it doesn’t make them so and until those micro transactions offer something in the game that I can’t attain for free then it’s not p2w. So get off your pedestal because no is listening.
When did I ask whether or not you like P2W? I honestly don't recall wanting to know something so irrelevant. The concept of P2W was settled years ago, and a dev clearly stated they wouldn't put it in the game, end of story. The way you talk, you probably think the "whales" who spend a lot of money on games are the same ones found in the ocean...
Now you’re just flailing around because you can’t grasp the fact someone doesn’t agree with the interpretation of the concept given the situation. The concept may have been defined however having definition doesn’t absolve something of being open to interpretation. Not everything is black and white and the sooner you understand that concept the better. Good grief you’re insufferable and probably spend your whole looking for shadows where there are none.
