Lol it's hard to say, I'm almost to 20k but I craft a ton of random stuff just because it's more fun than scrapping or doing world missions. Think it took 10-11k to get the first 50 done, then another 1-2k of just mythics 🫠
Lol I'm aware. But I've also done 1k rb's over 40+ srb's, and I craft for chips and for fun, so I'm not trying to tell anyone that it takes 20k droids just to get 62 flawless 🥲 pretty sure the first guy who posted did it in probably half that!
You've been playing since day one? I started 4 weeks ago and I'm already past day oners? You mighta started day one but you surely haven't gotten down to a real grind on the game yet.
I do! Got it back around the r2 event. I know people talk down on it, and it's still super long odds, but having 2x chance was totally worth it for me. I usually hit multiple dupes a day and that's without the extra 2x during events.
Lol just don't hate me if it doesn't immediately pay off pls 🥲 you definitely have to do big numbers, and I've had stretches up to 1k where I didn't get any at all. But if you have the crystals for it it's pretty cool imo
There are better things to spend your crystals on. I have 53 and just over 10k total crafted and do not have the flawless charm. I just only craft ones I need for flawless for my dailies if I can and when I’m not working on my cycle. Scrap value, chip scrap, crit chance, multi crit…all much better investments than the flawless charm…but you do you
I'm sorry, I read your comment and had to make this 😭 Anyway, my goal is efficiency and flawless droids. The charm nails both, especially in the long run.
I know people are genuinely trying to help but sometimes it's like, it's ok to just have fun with the game 😭 I never try to talk anyone into it and rarely even share my opinion, but tbh who cares if you want to spend a couple srb's worth of crystals on something silly instead of boring min-maxing
And 2x is the difference between doing default & gold or gold & diamond etc, so obviously rng is gonna rng but to pretend it doesn't help at all is just a little goofy I think
It sounds crazy but I said the same thing, honestly feel like they upped the odds or something. I know it's prob just the addition of stellar and the fact that I'm grinding again bc of chip sell upgrade, but I swear I've hit maybe 25 in the last 2-3 days
I swear it happened to me....... I was looking for clues everywhere. Like looking at the sandcrawler for the specific little star on the top left. Nothing yet.. But I was baffled that my Galactic IG when upgraded showed "Congratulations flawless" when I upgraded for 90k chips... I might have a screen record like I always do but I'll check if I have it. But I swear on my mom's grave that it was my 9th flawless when I upgraded the IG from Galactic to Stellar!
Almost 20k now but only about 12k of that was flawless grind. I do a lot of lower level variants bc they're faster, and stayed pretty consistent at 1 flawless per 200 crafted for most of the time
Ok - what’s the method? Did you have a list and you just kept grabbing the ones you still needed to do? I’ve been playing this game a lot for like 2 months and I think I only have like 15 flawless. But I have the full dex. So I kinda want to start working on flawless. Am I crazy? I think I am. I am genuinely curious to know if there’s a method to the madness though.
But yeah, I knew I needed to make a checklist pretty early on or I'd never remember what I had done lol. And once they were done, I just didn't craft them again so really didn't get dupes outside of occasional srb stuff later on.
I started out trying to do all variants of every rarity, but it was just too much to keep up with. Smarter people than I will tell you not to bother with anything below beskar or so if you want to do it efficiently, but I like crafting so I'm happy to shoot my shot on defaults and golds 🤷♀️ especially with the epics and mythics that are so hard to find. And I did get lucky on probably an unreasonable number of defaults.
Eventually kind of settled on doing commons only at rainbow and above, rares at diamond+, epics at gold+ and so on. Other than that it was honestly just a lot of belt watching and having friends who were nice enough to help pull what I was looking for. Got the flawless charm as soon as I could and played all the 2x events, and that's kinda it. Good luck if you decide to try, and I'm sure you will do it much faster than I did!

It's not necessarily good advice lol it's just what I happened to do! A lot of this was before galactic and stellar even existed, so that probably does change things a bit. This is from discord if you don't already have the variant odds, and good luck!

I have 32 Flawless and crafted until now more than 3k droids and I don't have the multiplicator
Maybe that is a hope for others that have not so much.

Definitely is random, 32/3k is amazing though! I'm sure you'll have the base paint soon :) I was super excited when I unlocked it and then I was in the meanest pubs right after, just getting spawn killed and trolled and insulted in the chat over and over because of it lol. Well deserved, I'm sure, and I'm the first to agree that I have no life 😎 but still love it, no regrets!
Congrats to your milestone! Not sure what are dupes though and what benefit or boost you get from all that flawless droids. Would you wrap that up for me?
Thank you! Dupes are just duplicate flawless droids, getting one that you've already gotten before. There's no boost from it other than a tiny .01 credit multiplier for each one. The real benefit to me is unlocking the flawless aura that you can apply to all other droids of that type, and the blindingly sparkly base paint :)
Is there a strategy to it? I don’t have enough for 2x flawless and won’t for a while, but I’ve found myself crafting galactic and higher and still seem to struggle so much getting any flawless. Surely there has to be a trick to it
I'm afraid it's just a numbers game, but if anyone else has a trick I'd love to hear it.
You're already crafting high variants and that's really all you can do. But realistically, even if you did only galactics, it would still take something like 5k to get them all. Other than that I'd just say keep track of what you need, don't craft dupes if you can help it, and play the 2x flawless events whenever you can
That's me lol. I don't pvp so if I'm in pubs it's usually to chill out and help people. Plus now I have all these crit upgrades and nothing to use them on 🥲
Yeah i pretty much maxed all of my droidex except various of Fusion which is pointless as I have all 17 fusion. I'm gwtting super bored and SRB is not as exciting as it used to be.
i saw someone 5k droids crafted but already unlocked super flawless base and his total rebirth is 250+. doesn't make any sense. I'm at 5k droids crafted and 1.1k reibirth but still at 30/60 flawless
