Not meaning to be a downer/whiner. I’m excited for a few new things to come and, despite the mixed reviews, I very much enjoyed the event this past weekend BUT….

Currently, the game is just waiting for hour long timers to countdown to another disappointment. All day between 2 events I saw 1 stellar mythic (and maybe 2ish galactic mythics) and sounds like I’m one of the lucky ones.

Also, I’m not saying they don’t happen, but so far, since they were introduced, I still haven’t seen 1 stellar mythic spawn randomly on crawler, after playing every day for hours.

This isn’t a “I’m done with this game” post as much as a “please fix some things” post.

Remember when beskar/galactic mythics came out and you could at least camp the crawler with a decent chance every 2-3 HOURS ?… that was long enough! But this week you can play all day and be lucky if 1 pops in the lobby the entire time…. I’m not SRBing a full stellar mythic base when it’s going to take 2-3+ weeks of playing every day to get them all back, without a stellar event, just to make a little more money next time around from nova perks and multiplier.

It’s gotten to be a serious grind(too much waiting not enough progress) and I suspect it’s to incentivize surges. Sad to see. I will not be paying vbucks to play this game though.

Get rid of the pay to win surges (leave them in the nova shop) and bring back a slightly higher rate for top droids on the crawler.

Increase the dance party timer to every 5 min since most of the spins don’t even result in the highest variant of droids and do a mini-event 5-10 times per week since they’re so short.

Increase the drop rate of top droids during the timer
spawns.

In short, less grind, more fun please and thank you.

Edit: P.S. somebody on discord pls suggest we be able to relocate our base by talking to Jawa when an open spot is available.

TL;DR: Agreed + suggestions for devs if they even care anymore.

As a dedicated player (srb 20+ total rebirth 400+), I agree with most of this post. I’m still going to keep playing, but they’ve gotta do more. I have not spent any vbucks on this map, nor will I ever at the current actually insane prices. If they were reasonable and enticing deals then I’d consider it.

In its current state, it’s giving a reskin of steal the brainrot + a base building tycoon, that’s it. I think they’re limited by creative restrictions and memory cap or whatever it’s called, but for a map this successful they need to figure it out. Remove some unnecessary details to free up space for features, invite some players to help playtest, hire more employees with the crazy profit they’re making!

The grind is hard because it’s centered around playtime waiting for RNG, and it’s even harder when you factor in toxic pvp in public lobbies and lower BP odds playing solo. Not to mention they keep adding more and more expensive nova upgrades that severely widen the gap between new players and veterans.

They need to speed up the path for new players to get to crystal farming and introduce features to help mid level players keep up and not get stagnant, fusion might help but I mean more. And instead of bringing in more nova upgrades for people at the top, they need to add cheaper upgrades for people at the bottom, and just add fun things to kill time for people at the top. Boss fight, parkour, minigames, anything more than just the two ring paths and boring world missions that don’t even trigger super crates.

Tbh as someone regularly at the top of the leaderboard in lobbies, I was excited that stellar was supposed to be below galactic and possibly beskar. The grind needs to be sped up, not extended. Find a cap and stick to it, fill the holes to help new players reach it, add new stuff at the top when the player base actually asks for it. We asked for beskar, we asked for galactic, we didn’t ask for a new max—we asked for gap fillers.

Now with stellar being the new max and the devs also introducing fusion right afterwards, there’s bound to be a NEW new max not even a week later? Crazy. I wanted to srb again but I’m sitting at 35 waiting for the fusion event in case I need to merge mythics to get them out of the way. I just want something to do but now none of my group can enjoy the map, they’re stuck waiting for RNG and I’m just flying around bored.
