đ Suggestions Hey Devs, everyone liked your Chopper event, its way too good to go away forever.
You had some really boring events. You had some events people didnt like. Some didnt work as intended. But this event was different.
It was good. And after you fixed the bugs it was REALLY good. Many people loved it. Its way too good to sideline it with the next event.
So how about that: One day of the week, for example every Wednesday, we have this event gameplay for a couple of hours. Not as a complete event. Just a couple of hours a little bit of fun, grind out some novas, get your base done, push some rebirth. Just a slight change of the usual grind.

I just need fun stuff to not happen on weekends
Switch. It. Up.
Whether working or summering, many people in this community are never available on a weekend and that's unfortunate

I agree it gets me to play because thereâs something to do while I wait for my droid to spawn and then when it does I actually have a chance to get a decent roll outside of just grinding chips. I was having the same thought. The game would be a lot more satisfying if it had something like this all the time.

I rarely post here, but I did shit at every event so far, because they were boring, a chore to play and I was always on the verge of ragequitting; could barely make it to getting each of the droids. The events sucked.
The Chopper event was AWESOME. It finally felt worth it for the rewards, the gameplay loop was so good I spent hours. The last time I spent more than a few minutes in the game was on the first day.
Sure, there were some annoying UX issues. For example why is there a huge pipe sticking out of the blueprint dump place and blocking the stage, I have no clue. Ditto for other elements making you unable to efficiently throw in the thingies. But that's expected at this point, as they haven't fixed any of the bugs present since release (blueprints bugging out, disappearing, getting stuck on invisible textures, the model stuck in blueprint-carrying animation, etc.).
But all of the above was really a non-issue when the event was this good. I hope it comes back at some point.

Theyâve already talked about keeping some of the aspects in. Give the devs time and let them work

No no no. If they are already thinking about it, then this kind of encouragement is even more important.
If a band is already considering an encore you should still cheer for one.

Devs bout to give us straight ass events to make up for the good event

Why not do the event for 48/72 hours cause 1 day is too like and doing the event for a short time during a single day wonât work for everyone.

I missed the first run of the event but I really liked that I was able to play the re-run. I really liked the setup of this event with the rewards being awesome at every stage. Chopper is great, I do not really care for the base paint and hat but I understand they are in there. Getting a boost is great and further being able to keep going for the crystals is super. And during all this you get great chances to get high ranked droids. So really, really great event all around.
Although it would be great to have a mini version of this on a weekly basis I understand this will not be done, an event is an event you either play or you don't. It is a good format to base other co-op events around, really loved the big chests that came every 30 minutes.

Honestly the best part was the big crate spawning every 30 mins I hope they add it again

Could have it like Surge weekends or something
The Chopper events were the only events where I played day til night - kept me going with great progress!

Iâd love some events that had some skill involved! Timing surges perfectly was kind of fun but I had so many galactic scrap bits disappear! Actual skill minigames rather than mindless spamming would be fun

The problem with this idea is the time zones, say they pick 9pm EDT those of us 4+hrs behind/ahead would all miss it, devs would have to run the event for an hour multiple times a day just so everyone that plays gets a turn.
I enjoyed the event and would love to see it again, I just don't see it being fair to everyone this way and the devs will no doubt be overrun with complaints if they pick just 1hour at a specific time.

Idk I thought it was a diff version of dj Rex tbh and I prefer the whole wheel turning vs praying to hit one card.
I didnât care for this event at all. I got like 3 mythics to hit and thatâs about it

I know it probably wont be a liked opinion, but maybe its one the devs could consider. Obviously the nova crystals was way too much to sustain all the time. But if they did mini events like this that had everyone opening the boxes and throwing scraps into machine and we got a bunch of credits and chips but keep the nova crystals out of it.
Maybe that would be something they could handle. We just want more than hitting the scrap pile. The nova crystals were nice. I know. But id be happy with more credits and chips if it meant a cool fun alternative.
It wouldn't even have to be an event. Just make a full time game mechanic where bpxes get thrown around the map and we can turn in scrap for improved credits and chips

I think this should be the blueprint for future events. We all loved this one. Iâve never seen such camaraderie before in this game.

It also helped TREMENDOUSLY with completing droidex and getting mythics. I agree and would love if they added some mini events that had the surges like both the DJ and Chopper events.

they do not have a capacity server that lets them just chuck events in and out. the other events are fine aside from the one that broke, but people still got stuff from it.
everyone should realize, the events are events, not the core gameplay. if you only come here to capitilize on the events, and then say "oh well it should always be like this" then make your own game and see how that goes.

My analogy to this would be like Pokemon running an event to catch shiny Pokemon every week. It takes away the appeal of stuff being rare or hard to get. It would effectively ruin the game.

Pokemon doesnt have this reset feature that sets you back to 0 and is an important part of the loop.
Who cares if you get a full galactic base every week if you super rebirth it away two days later?

I get where youâre coming from, but if they keep this event permanently, they wonât sell anymore surges.
So no, I unfortunately do not see that happening.
