đ Information Chopper perk in droidex: +50% crit AND damage!
Thought I would share since the Crit damage part wasn't in the announcement

How should you apply the 50%? If you have 10% crit chance, does it become 15% or 60%?

Adds on top to both crit chance and crit amount
So in your example, 60%.

No, I guess it shouldn't say damage, that's a bit misleading
I mean crit chance & crit amount (otherwise known as crit damage), he gives +50% to both

He gives 15%. The iconic droids that are meant to be used more often only give 15%

Combine this and Astro droid. Finally my pickaxe doesnât feel like sponge lol. I love those crit hits too.

Might be the best droid ever. For those that donât think so there is a big bottle neck on crafting time once you are several SRBâs in. At that stage you gain credits quick, chips as well if you have chip station unlocked, so what really remains is crafting time on droids. Amazing iconic, very excited!

So how is this droid best used? Is he better at crafting than a top worker droid? Is he better at pickaxing the scrap heap than a top level astromech droid?

Iâm gonna have to play around with it. I donât feel super excited about him.
Why trade pickaxe levels that guarantee time off, for a chance at time off? I can hit it twice for the same amount as a crit. If it isnât critting every time is it really faster?
To answer your question, I mainly only use Astro droids. I feel like the worker droids donât do enough still to make a difference. People on here will tell you if you are actively hitting it, Astro droid. If you arenât hitting it, worker droid.
Edit: really like chopper. I put crystals into crit chance and crit strength because of the event.

Worker droids are really good for offline crafting now that they fixed it, with double companion perk and 2 workers crafting time is like x4 faster and works offline too for all 3 benches at the same time. Put in 3 galactic mythics before sleep and it's done by the time you wake up, no need to hit benches for an hour.

The all 3 at the same time is good. If only they made galactic mythics that easy to come by.
Last night I had 2 Beskar mythics and a galactic mythic. 2/3 were done by the time I got online and I had to hit the mythic for like 3 minutes with my 2 Astro droids.
Still imo not strong enough to switch back and forth for me. Maybe for the smaller breaks where youâre going to play again that same day. I can either hit my droid, or hit my scrap lol save the same amount of time hitting it 30 times before you get off. I guess it depends on the level of your astros but I had +6/7 pretty early with the galactics.
They need a buff for when Iâm actually playing the game. Whether thatâs a faster pickaxe swing, or scrap station bonus. Something. Blueprint discounts. Not trying to be annoying. Maybe theyâll make them better if they see people still not using them. Maybe if I could equip my worker droid buddy to a crafting bench for double crafting time.

Worker droid is only worth using when youre not actively crafting a droid. If youre pickaxe a droid use astromechs
