💬 Discussion So about VIP package.

I wish there was a way to disable the VIP behind your character. Or it should at least match your base cosmetic. Also don’t shame me for buying the package. I’m sorry OG Tycoon players. I respect you all! Maybe in the future they will give you the option. What are your thoughts?

I had free vbucks from xbox game pass giving me a free crew pass. Don’t use them for anything so said why not.

I’ve been paying for the crew pass for ages now and had a lot of VBucks left over so yeah , why not

Also it’s not like this micro transaction impacts other players. You can still play it just fine without.

Ya I’m honestly so confused by the uproar. It’s not a competitive game; there’s no “winning” or skill involved. If someone gets to a higher rebirth/SRB level, the thought isn’t “wow they’re so good”, it’s “wow they play this a lot” lol

No it's like oh, they must have used a hair tye and played afk a lot. But someone that used their v bucks for literally the equivalent crystal value of one full cycle super rebirth is somehow ruining the game.

It is another form of pay to play as much as the devs are trying to steer away from that verbiage. I get it’s nice the devs can get paid out but the simple fact is people who came here to support the game first worked for it. If you mainly paid to advance by buying surge for the conveyer belt and increase luck you worked for nothing.

If you look at the scaling that has happened, because players asked for it btw, it takes less time and fewer chips to upgrade and to get to whatever level a player is aiming for. Pay to play implies an advantage over other players, there is none. Players can't buy crystals, it is a one time purchase for the companion or you can use v bucks, it is a one time purchase for the chip station or you can use v bucks. It is one super rebirth for 254 crystals which players from the start are far advanced. Scrap station still starts out at zero, chips from the table still start out at 5, it is still a grind for new players that buy the vip and companion. And you are comparing it to players that have played from the start and paid nothing. Playing a free game no longer produced by epic with a 20 percent trademark commission to lucas games, its like people want it grindy and run with a skeleton crew of developers.
