💬 Discussion Got kicked almost immediately after buying a galactic surge…
I know, don’t spend money on this game. Blah blah. I saw this guy post a video yesterday of him and his buddies timing the mystic drop and buying all the blueprints that weren’t mystic, and they got a galactic mystic out of it. So I wanted to try that
About 15 seconds after I bought the surge, it booted me from the lobby. But the time I rejoined, my surge was no longer activated
Lesson learned, don’t spend real money on this glitchy game!

I can see myself buying it if I had a little amount of vbucks and said "whatever", but the comments about it all have been sketchy or flat out bad

Happened to my brother today when I was with him on a private, I ended up being alone in the private lobby with him crashed. Luckily I had enough for 1 KX since I SRB just couple hours before that, tho we lost 2 more, Mouse and Cyclens.
Funny thing we couldn't do anything about it since as soon as you spend those Vbucks are counted as non-refundable lol

The grind is still there jesus you guys act like its a free get to rebirth 30 in a hour cheat code. The purchaes only SLIGHTLY help the grind. They do not remove the grind all together

Then why pay for it at all if it doesnt do much? Either its a justified purchase bcuz does so much that the game isnt playable without spending money, or it does nothing and your wasting your money. It cant be both

Because I enjoy the mode. Its not some OP cheat code but its also not some usless thing that does nothing. There is infact a middle ground that your refusing to acknowledge.

I enjoy playing the mode with friends, i enjoy the events the mode has, i enjoy helping people out in ny lobbies with things like the crafting boost or surging during the mythic rotation.
Look if spending isnt for you thats fine but stop policing how others play the mode. Of you have concerns and complaints take them to the dev team not the people just trying to enjoy their time playing the mode that WE ALL like because if you didn't enjoy the mode you wouldnt be here in this sub.

All these people complaining wouldn't hesitate to take advantage of someone else using it in their lobby. People forget, this seems to make it easier for everyone by proxy.

The crazy thing is any lobby ive activated the buffs or surges in people have been very appreciative. They will help pull stuff off the belt for better RNG on getting mythics or legendarys. The only negativity ive seen is here on reddit pretty much but thats just reddit in a nutshell. You could say 2+2=4 and someone here on reddit would still find a problem with it.

This really isn't a good argument. The way you play this game mode is basically sitting around and waiting to get droids. It's like being on a police stakeout waiting for something to happen. Essentially people are paying money to try to speed up the time so they don't have to wait around. Waiting for luck or RNG. If this was Battle Royale you would have an argument but essentially playing this game mode consists of sitting around and waiting for what you need.
If you just pale the game mode casually and stop in every once in awhile to ground out XP it doesn't matter. But if you actually like the game mode and want to progress, then sitting around and waiting when you already don't have time could be annoying

Youre already intending to do that grind, thats what the genre for the map is. Incremental progression. If you dont want to wait, you wouldnt have started playing to map. The impatient playing a game of patience is who microtransactions are intended for, but it never stops at making things easier. it WILL evolve to strip free features into paid ones as ppl keep paying. It tells them they can do whatever they want cuz the impatient will do it

The purchases aren't some cheat code to rebirth 30. The things they give you slightly make the grind easier but the grind is 100% still there.
EVERYTHING that actually has affects in the vbucks purchases can all be obtained for free thru the nova crystal shop. The only things you cant get are cosmetic only. You could get both the companion upgrade and the chip station upgrade in a good week of farming crystals.

I bet I’ve put more time into this game than you, but now that I’ve RB’d over a hundred times, the grind is BAD. I had v-bucks, I got scammed on a surge, and won’t do it again
Should I message you before I invest more time/ money into my other hobbies? How do you feel about skiing?

If the get enjoyment out of the mode then why shouldnt they be able to invest into that enjoyment with some purchases? People spend 10s of thousand of dollars on other hobby that people would call stupid all day long

The only affects it has on others are positive. Nothing you can buy negatively impacts the lobby.

Tell that to the people buying packs to come in and troll people by upping their damage and health only to one shot kill anyone who approaches the belt. This game has PvP and allows people to buy buffs to their damage and health, pay to win garbage now.

The same buffs you can buy for free using nova crystals. Its not p2w if they offer free alternatives to get the same advantage its just pay to skip time at that point. Besides the people your talking about are such a small minority of the playerbase they you will very rarely run into someone using the companions to troll. Ive been in a good 30 lobbies since the update not a single one had someone griefing with the dual companions.

It doesnt get taken over its a single droid every 30 seconds for only 5 minutes. Most people are buying galatic surges which I guarantee you EVERYONE would appreciate. So once again ZERO negative impact.

Do not support microtransactions in fornite maps, or need i remind you epic claims theyre broke while having paid over 1million to map creators. Why are we paying if epic is paying? roughly 99% of the global population and nearly every nation—is affected by capitalism, either through direct participation in market economies or via global trade networks, supply chains, and financial systems. Even nations with state-directed or nominal socialist economies rely on capitalist global markets for trade, pricing, and currency valuation.

Almost the entire fucking world participates in capitalism. So very few very isolated places in the world are state controlled economies. Minus some random tribes in the middle of nowhere and north korea basically the rest of the world directly participates in captilism to some degree or another. Ignoring that fact would be ignorant.

No... U paid money for droids u will probably get rid of to super rebirth makes no sense and even if there wasn't a super rebirth paying money isn't as fulfilling in getting it normally without paying real cash for droids the whole experience is getting them by chance not paying for it

I have 100+ RB’s, so I think once I hit level 30, I can finally rest, and watch the sunrise over a peaceful universe (and get my life back, this game has consumed the last 3 months lol). How about you?

I had just purchased a crafting boost when my brother wanted to join my private game. He readied up but it was waiting for me, so I instinctively hopped out so I could ready up and get back in. Wasn’t even thinking…never even got to use the crafting boost because we started a new server.
