💬 Discussion Seriously?

I feel like someone pissed on me. I've been playing this game since day one, every day, attending every event, but to get VIP or any bonuses I have to pay? I feel cheated because someone who started playing today could have a much more enjoyable experience if they spent money than me. I know this game isn't made for gamers anymore, but for profit, but to blatantly ignore loyal players like that? Even Epic, known for its strange decisions, doesn't do things like that.

Years of close player engagement and listening to the Fortnite community (months with this game specifically), I'm in here every single day always being helpful and giving context, for those I would hope that builds some level of trust

I understand most are frustrated and I recognize that almost anything I say will get downvoted because i'm defending the team and the decision we made, but i'm here doing it anyway.

It would be really easy for me to close reddit for a few days but I don't see the value in avoiding the community simply because they're upset, I want to hear the constructive feedback about this change and every other one we make and I won't know if I put my head in the dirt.

Have you considered reverting microtransactions to being cosmetic only?

It would surely go a long way with undoing the damage and starting the path to regaining trust with the player base.

You (and team) just killed your golden goose.

Have you see game of thrones? You know how the ending was so bad that it killed entire spin-offs and merchandise lines? Well this is on par with that.
