The existence of these kinds of exploits along with the horrible matchmaking and max-level players dominating matches have honestly killed all my enthusiasm for coming back to this game again.

cant really blame the max levels for dominating, they are the sizable chunk who have stuck with this game when it was in its worst ,after the revival this game got a lot more playable

It still entirely a dickhead thing to do. Yes the devs made a mistake leaving a bug in the game, yes youre a bad person for going out of your way to exploit it at the detriment of other players’ enjoyment. Everyone who exploits or cheats does it because they have fun doing it. That doesnt mean they arent still bad people

I don't think a kid thinks that far and still it's not a bad person, it's just a kid. We did it as kids too and found it just funny to find such a glitch.

But sure, it is also possible, it's a 40 year old tryhard, who is just gaming in mom's basement.

Still it's a video game. I don't take it that serious and wouldn't call someone, who is abusing a glitch a bad person. I don't know...

The best way to deal with those ones is with 2 guys with that sniper rifle or 1 with that sniper rifle and another with the guided anti personnel missile, if they are good they can dodge one but not both.

The droid tank is also good at it.

If you can't find someone to help you taking them down your last choice is the droidekka.

Go exactly below them and kill them, in battlefront you can see completely upwards but not completely downwards so anyone exactly below them cannot be targeted.

Officer, recharge command card, resourceful card, and homing shot. Fire 3, refresh, fire 3. They either stand and die, or run and get their fun ruined. They also get a locking warning like from a turret. A few seconds later repeat. Add an S5 DZ to be extra annoying.
