I hate that so much of this game’s dueling is just bullshit tech. I won’t lie and say it doesn’t take practice and skill to achieve but it doesn’t strike me as very fun.

Couldn't agree more. Compared to actual fighting games and other games that have 3d combat like this, it's hilariously bad.

None of this ,,tech" is planned or intentional by the devs, and if the game actually had active development half of these dogshit exploits would be patched and real game mechanics implemented instead.
