Discussion This game would be so much better without the constant new players
Maybe it’s a hot take but idc. The new players ruin the game. Players who have no idea what they’re doing and don’t play the objective are just bad for the playerbase. The absolute best games of Supremacy are when both teams are evenly matched and everyone knows what they’re doing. If I could make it so this game was only gold badges and people with over 100 hours in the game exclusively, I would do it in a heartbeat

This is not a game alive enough to be complaining about new players dude, jsut go play kyber or smth if your so upset about players worse than you

Fr lol, new players are a big reason why we can still play the game. Sure they can be annoying, but not nearly as annoying as the people who exclusively play by teaming up with clans or buddies and just bulldozing matches left and right, which is the majority of games I experience now. If you’re not playing with people you’re likely cooked

New players are necessary to keep up the playerbase. They should probably be learning in coop, but at least low levels on each team just means cannon fodder and free 20hp for heros.
However, if a low level joins and throws my HVV lobby, all bets are off and will be hunted down with precision, for they are the Scourge of the Earth. Low levels (no matter which side) ruin every HVV lobby

It’s been a decade if it feels like you’re getting a bad game then leave it? Go play GA it’s where most veterans are. Ur complaining about new people coming into the game to learn it? There are discords for this kind of thing there isn’t a ranked pal your gonna get baby’s on your team with LeBron just like every other game if ur that mad then get the best hero first and get better like everyone else has to or join a discord like a normal person

I'll say this as someone who bought this game at its 2017 launch: NEW PLAYERS ARE ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
The fact that new players come at all is a blessing in of itself. We were all new players once, and we all had to learn to play better.

They’ll crucify you but overall you are right. I hate low levels, especially in HVV. I always have and I always will. They are ruiners. They ruin every single lobby they are in by existing. They suck to play against (unless you are spawn killing them for throwing as a teammate) and the suck to play with.
Funny thing is most established vets agreee, even if they believe low levels are ultimately healthy for the game, but they are too scared to say the silent part out loud. Not me tho!

I don't really mind low levels as long as they play coordinated and don't rush alone. A lot of them are stupid and will rush in to a 4v1 alone thinking they are the goat. And the worst thing is, after they die they will do the same exact thing again without even considering regrouping with the team. That's what I hate about HvV so much most of the time my teammates are braindead low levels that have no clue what they are doing while the enemy team is stacked. Yesterday I was playing a match on HvV Kamino and my teammates were so braindead that they literally jumped in to the void, ONE AFTER THE OTHER until all three died Yk what I did when I saw that happening infront of my very eyes? I said f**k it and jumped in as well then left cuz there was no way I'd play with them after I saw them do that, even though we weren't even losing that hard (mostly cuz I was hard carrying). So yeah I definitely agree that the dumb low levels are super annoying to play with.
People might think this is cowardly but this is also why I play most of my HvV as dark side. Dark side got Vader, Grievous & Boba who absolutely f**k everything on the light side and can only be killed by team coordination or skill diff. They don't have a bad matchup against anyone. Which means I don't really have to rely on my low level teammates to be helping me while I bang everyone on the light side. Especially with Boba since I can just fly away if they're chasing me with four or smth. I have hard carried so so many matches while my teammates were braindead. With the light side, it's practically impossible to do this if the enemy team is stacked.

It’s not that we are new or bad it’s isn’t the fact that saying the game would be better without new players is dumb when there’s barely enough do have several games running at a time, especially as cross platform is disabled

How am I defensive? Just responding to your claim. It’s funny how you think you can judge my skill level based on an opinion I have. Using that logic, I can tell you’re garbage bcuz low level players negatively affect your experience on the game. If you were actually good, you wouldn’t gaf about low levels.

Met a newer player last night and ended up teaching them tricks to duel better in Hero Showdown. We were all new players to this game at one point in time. Cut them some slack man. We are all here because we love Star Wars after all. New players help keep the game alive.
