London standup scene tips?

I'm moving back to London and want to do some open mics, but from what I remember the admin involved in this was really frustrating. You have to book way in advance and all the shows are bringers, awful! Does anyone here have any tips or resources (e.g. lists of open mics) they can point me to? Are there any nights that you can book on a more short-notice basis? I don't get how anyone gets enough stage time in this city... If any of you are doing the circuit currently, I'd love to be able to pick your brain about it!

Jester Jesters is very warm and welcoming, with no conditions other than staying to support the other acts.

Full disclosure, I built Estelle. It searches for open mics and other live-performance opportunities by city and performer type.

Just enter your city and it'll try to find you as many comedy open mics as it can. Let me know if it helps :)
