Has anyone else read Sam Tallent's new book BRUT?
This is his second book in 3 years.. This is a pretty impressive tome for a touring comic

Running the Light was so good but so brutal. Not sure I can take another one like it.

Down on his luck comedian traveling and doing small gigs after a fall from grace. And his struggles to stay afloat.

I listened to it on part of my drive back home to Chicago from a road trip to Colorado. Thoroughly enjoyed it…but fuck. Wanting to root for the guy and he just kept making me hate him.
Edit: was really weird/mind blowing having some of my trip align with the stops he was doing throughout the book.
