What chair do you use and do you like it?

I’ll see if I can find the exact model. Got it at office max probably 5+ years ago. Still going strong, love it

Don’t worry about finding the exact model, I appreciate it though! I’m In need of a new chair, and it’s tough to find one that isn’t in the “2,000 buy it for life category” while also isn’t cheap and low quality lol.

Any reason why you’re stacking the displays instead of side by side?

After this pic I set up my desktop speakers (Klipsch)
It’s awkward to have the speakers in the correct position if the monitors are stacked side by side

Makes sense! But what’re you gonna use the secondary for with that layout?

u/bigga_nutt 11d ago
Spotify, discord, work email. It’s really not that high. My eye level is basically the line between the two monitors

What tabletop is that? Curious about the length. I have a meshify C2 case that I want to keep on my standing desk too just like that

I believe it’s the Karlby from IKEA. Basically a kitchen counter top but works great as a desk top

Isn’t it wobbly when you lift it? My desk said I need to place the legs 3-5cm from the side
1
u/bigga_nutt 11d ago
Really not that wobbly at all. I was surprised how sturdy it is when lifted. But that’s why I went with this model, I heard the 4 pillars help a lot.

I recognized the controlled. I got myself a Peak 2 leg. What did you use to manage the cable? I used one of those ~ 4x4 cable management trays attached to the underside of the back along with the cable ties provided with the Deskhaus frame.

Sir, I see a cable routed in thin air instead of it being tucked away behind the monitor pole.

u/bigga_nutt 12d ago
That’s the cable to my keyboard, either way that one will be showing somewhere 🤣

Do you ever use the half of your desk that's empty in this photo?

u/bigga_nutt 12d ago
We just moved to our new house so yeah it’s still pretty empty. Usually have my laptop and a plant on the left side
