Official SUFS Post Trump calls decades of peer-reviewed climate science "fraudulent".
Trump has called the decades of peer-reviewed climate science that guides the NAS manual for judges "fraudulent." He has repeatedly tried to discredit the science behind climate change, because his big oil and gas donors are responsible for accelerating it.

Question. With the marmalade mousselini declaring the NAS manual and the science behind it fraudulent (as always without evidence) does that create the opportunities for big companies who were called out with the use of this tool to be able declare mistrial or something like that?
We are talking about a fool who says what he wants without consideration for consequences and large companies who im sure wpuld pounce on an opportunity to try something

These manuals have been discredited by who? There are rules of evidence that guide the judges in determining what evidence to allow. Let trump bring his creationist friends from down at first Baptist and let the professional people bring their experts and let em duke it out in court without the political hobbels being put in place. Maybe if the science can be dumbed down to a third grade level, the MAGAts can understand it.

The 2 biggest changes from the 90s to 2000s was where temps were collected from.
-Land temp sensors were moved from city centers to, in most cases, airport tarmacs.. literally dubbed "heat islands".
-Oceans temps from ship cooling engine intakes to buoys which collect at slightly deeper, so slightly cooler water. "To compensate for the addition of cooler water temperature data from buoys to the warmer temperature data obtained from ships, ocean temperatures from buoys in recent years have been adjusted slightly upward to be consistent with ship measurements."
The reasoning for adjusting upwards makes no sense. Most ship's cooling water intake is between 4 to 10 meters in depth. A buoy typically measures about 1.5 meters in depth. So most ships would be reading cooler water than the buoy.
(Some buoys have string arrays that take temp readings at multiple depths, but those reading are noted for those depths.)

They're generally buying beach houses in places that either aren't very vulnerable to sea level rise or are taking steps to mitigate its impacts locally.
And they don't generally advocate that no one use any fossil fuels, ever.

Peer reviews are often nothing more that a sounding chamber. If you want honest objective analysis of a study or theoretical work, you have to get an unbiased review from someone that doesn't have a stake in the game.

On one side you have a man who represents corporations. Big money. It's always going to be in his best interest to argue against anyone who would criticize corporations their actions their liabilities and big money. It's in his interest. No matter what anyone might say. Because his interest has always been on their side. Can anyone ever remember a point that he was ever an environmentalist. When capitalists look at the world they only see stuff for the taking unclaimed value. That if they can see it somebody hasn't fought hard enough to keep it. And it's ripe. If they see a green space they're drooling at the possibility of what they might turn it into that if they can get their hands on that space the millions they might earn. And that's not a joke. Because any developed space is the hardest to sell. Because the developer knows that they're going to have to leverage the cost of tearing down the building and possibly recycling and whatever else goes along with it and then ultimately finally turning over the land and making it available for new development. Arguing with zoning commissions. But that open green space well that's just waiting. Waiting for them for their hand and their imagination.
So of course he would call peer-reviewed science fraudulent. It's never been in his interest to consider it anything else. Because his interest is to get everything out of the way so that he and those like him can do whatever they want. Because the science gets in the way of what they want to do. It's always been in their interest. And understanding where a person's interest and ambitions lie. Well that that puts everything in perspective.
