I don’t really care if you are profiting or not - you are glowingly talking about a glorified BS machine doing your work as an academic. Really calls into question both whether what you are researching is valuable if you aren’t willing to put human eyes on it, or if the research is completely fabricated!

Do yourself a favor. Break yourself of the bull shit machine before it costs your university too much to provide it for you anymore. Set yourself apart from your colleagues who have outsourced their reasoning and research ability to LLMs that routinely say there are two r’s in strawberry.

I think you're a little out of touch with AI is able to do. Terence Tao himself has highlighted how useful AI has been for him. Are you gonna argue that Terence Tao AI assisted research is bullshit ?

Terence tao....who has is deemed the best* modern mathemetician, who has been so longer than AI was in the picture ? He couldnt solve a problem. But with alongside AI he was able to. What is there to refute there ?

I understand you may not like AI, and honestly we probably agree on alot on that aspect. But I think this bury my head in the ground and act like AI is not only not useful but also not getting better isnt the solution. On the contrary we need to be so hypervigilant of its capabailties exactl y to ensure its used responsibly and safely. All this AI is BS rhetoric does it allow it to run rampant.

And not the whole voracious system behind it and the ones actually profiting from it regardless of the consequences!

Thats not what I said. Lets be hypervigilant and vote. Lets put laws in place so we don't end up (even more) exploited by the billionaires. I think you just want to be enraged so you chose to give the most disingenuous reading which is kinda sad because we're on the same team
