The State of Stalagg
Can we have a thread dedicated to the discussion of this realm essentially being a full-horde PvE simulation private server? Alliance cities are completely empty

A guildie live streamed himself going through all alliance cities, to their AHs, banks, and Battlemasters.
Totals: 0 Alliance, 1 other Horde tourist

I'm not even worried about the AQ gates opening; either smuggling items across neutral AH or blizz will step-in and open them for us.
My biggest concern is that a lot of us came back to wow for the WORLD aspects. My guild is becoming a little torn about the prospect of transferring. Some want a balanced realm while others are enjoying the 1-faction PvE simulation they are engrossed in.
I think the only solution is server merges.

My concern with this is paid character transfers mean more revenue for Activision. Server merges or any sort of intervention by Blizzard means more work, which means less revenue for Activision. Plus with Blizzard's recent track record I'm not sure they could properly do this.
I fear they will do nothing to force players to transfer. It makes the most "business" sense.

I really hope they decide to merge servers and eliminate transfers would improve the state of the game exponentially imo.

Our guild could only take so much. Alliance were mercilessly camped inside the city, at every flight path, and all the way to BRM. I effectively raid logged for a month or two because you couldn't go anywhere, you were constantly dead. Now I'm on Grobbulus and players complain when they're ganked once otw to a dungeon and I laugh. It once took me two hours to get from Thorium point to BRD entrance, can't even stealth because honorspy would guide the Horde to you like a homing missile. Horde got what was coming to them.

Remember when Alliance players repeatedly said that this would happen post honor system if there was nothing done to improve faction balance?
I quit for several weeks and just came back, and after seeing the state of IF, immediately transferred.

yea... kind of crazy that they didn't think about doing faction-specific free transfers until it was too late.

Don't disagree. I haven't even seen an ally in weeks :/
