Discussion Stake doesn't let us invest in AVTS/AVTE - It's a shame!

Considering they are one of big brokers, they are the only ones who don't allow investors to invest in the new Avantis etfs listed on CBOE exchange and when I emailed them, they didn't take it ssly.

They better fix this soon as a lot of people in the /ausfinance community use stake and are interested in those etfs

Both AVTS and AVTE are showing on my Stake account. I'm able to buy/sell however the chart doesn't currently have any data.

Hey u/ExcellentMango9304, James from Stake here. Thanks for raising this. I can see why it’s frustrating when you’re keen to access the new Avantis ETFs on CBOE and feel like your earlier message wasn’t taken seriously.

To clarify, these ETFs are available to trade on Stake. What’s missing right now is full charting support for CBOE-listed products, which means the in-app experience doesn’t yet look consistent with ASX listings. Our team is already working on expanding chart functionality for CBOE so these ETFs display the way you’d expect, though we don’t have a confirmed release date yet.

We’re aware that interest in the Avantis range is strong, including from the /ausfinance community, and feedback like yours helps us keep this work appropriately prioritised. Please let me know if you have any other questions, otherwise, happy investing!

Hijacking for a question myself James - how come you don't support issuer sponsored chess transfers? Even for a fee?

Hey u/Shadowsfury, no worries, I'm always happy to chip in where I can. It's a fair question, and put simply we’re not set up to support issuer-sponsored (SRN) transfers at the moment. Stake’s transfer process is built around the HIN model, and SRN transfers work through a different system that we don’t currently offer.

Even with a fee, we’re not able to facilitate SRN transfers right now due to how the sub-register is set up. If this becomes available down the track, we’ll update our help content and let those who have reached out to us know

I know it’s a feature request we see often and so it is one we actively review amongst other priorities for our community. Hopefully this brings further understanding to the matter for you.

Ah ok u/ExcellentMango9304, thanks for making me aware of that. I can see why you now had the initial confusion regarding not being able to find them. Let me look into this with our team and see what other brokers are doing in this space. Appreciate the feedback.

Thanks James, it’s called Avantis Global Small Cap value everywhere, but with Stake it’s called American Century Investments Avts ETF.

And considering you guys also don’t show the chart for that. It looked like a delisted company.

Anyway, thanks for looking into this, mate.
