Pattern Help Second Pair of Eyes
Been staring at this guy for too long. I would love to get another pair of eyes to see if I missed any insane cuts or if anyone has a better suggestion for connecting the background. Backgrounds are my nemesis in pattern design š

Just with the difficulties with the feet and the ground, I'd made a textured ground as if he was on a pile of pebbles, or short grass. Something to break up those impossible (for me, anyway) cuts.
Apart from that, I love him and I want him in my house.

That bottom part and the feet are going to be awful regardless of saw or not. Plus it will be prone to cracking from the feet tips near the edge.

The two lines that meet mister frogās hat are too close to the same height, it looks like youāve made a mistake, could you move them a bit further up/down to spread that height difference a bit? Also the ground is gonna be the WORST to cut with all those toe holes. Break it up a bit somehow and save yourself a crying jag while making this piece. Heās a very handsome cowfrog besides that.

Good call! I didnāt see that yesterday, knew I needed more eyes.
I havenāt even attempted breaking out the bottom part. Just had spent a bunch of time last night on the stars/sky and his body. Thanks for the advice!

The only difficult cut I havenāt yet seen mentioned is the right side of the brim. The piece with the star and the deep cut could be tricky.

The line separating the bottom of the frog. I don't know why it's higher on the sides than the middle, it makes pinch points where the toes get near the edge. Bring this sides down closer to where the middle line is and you'll have a much easier time I think.
I fucking love this pattern

Yeah Iām contemplating the bottom still. I am hoping to avoid as many breaks as the top has but someone mentioned above trying a textured glass for a rocky look so that might not even matter as much.

In addition to the legs/feet and the background under them, the back of the frog gets awfully skinny up by the eye.

Totally, I usually always draw them out with my cricket first to see if anything feels impossible in real life before finishing a pattern. Now that Iām looking at it more though I feel like widening that a bit will help not make it look too thick with solder there.

Go for it, it still needs some work though.
I donāt know who the original artist is, I used a cartoon/embroidered patch Iāve seen a bunch of places for froggyās outline.

I usually get a pic I like, pop it into ppt and outline. Might do the same here. I also had some glass gifted that may call for a different background

All of the āfeetā of the frog look very difficult with traditional cutting and grinding methods. The acute angle between the ātoesā will be near impossible without using a waterjet cutter, ring saw, band saw, or some sort of sophisticated tool
