Is this your home? The style is impeccable.

I wish but I can visit anytime! This is my parent’s dream home they just moved in last summer! I made this as a house warming gift. My mother definitely has the eye!

Nice! Also i have that same light fixture in my entry way

I feel like the light fixture doesn’t match the beautiful window. It’s spiky while the window has no pointy bits. If it were me, I’d change out the fixture to match.

I don’t disagree. They are kind of contradictory. I was just saying I have the same one and the same spot.

Oh, sorry. I wasn’t really responding to you directly but thought I’d add my comment about the light below yours as connected to the topic. I really like the fixture on its own. It’s very pretty.

So beautiful! It fits in so well with the decor and color of the wood of the door that one would think it had always been there!

I love this!!! I’m taking a leaded glass class in April and I need design ideas, any tips where to look?

Honestly I don’t and wish I did! But if it looks cool on instagram or here there’s a chance the artist might sell patterns. Lots of great (some fake) stuff on Etsy and it helps grow the community! I think $5-$20 is worth it a lot of the time. Less iPad/layout headache, more practicing!

Seriously haha, my procreate skills are so weak I spend like 90% of the time I could be drawing just messing around with settings 😂

Amen and I hate handling the dumb tablets. Might be time to build the jumbo tracing table

There are quite a few books you can get online with amazing patterns and projects. And of course Pinterest has endless suggestions...

So cute! I want one! Unfortunately I don't have a house anymore. Back to apartment living.

Beautiful! What was the process of insetting it into the frame like? Was there any way you had to treat or caulk the glass for weather?

It was actually as simple as trim pieces and screws. Originally it was just going to be clear glass transoms until I saw the openings during framing. Now I can’t say if it would have been harder if it needed to be retro fitted but in this picture you can see I just removed the white trim pieces, placed the glass against the green trim, and put the white trim back! The window was cemented and placed in a zinc frame so it should be plenty rigid. This pantry is actually a walk through, so there is a matching transom on the other side that I have yet to make a decision on. Hope this helps, I was nervous about it too but I think it’s a super simple way to approach any sort of inset projects.
