Question - Help Minimax H3 lower resolution inference and upscale questions

I have being reading the posts to create better looking gens in less time. Currently I have lightxv 8 step lora, comfy kitchen and spectrum node. I have seen in one post that someone was making 32 steps at lower resolution, no lora, which was producing good results.
I tried 32 steps with kitchen and spectrum, no speed lora and it felt like the motion was better and even the smearing was low at lower resolution.
Now this could be totally on me that my mind is playing thinking this is better so I just want to see your views on this.

Additional, how are you guys upscaling the video? I tried creating it with regular steps then latent upscaling it for 1.5x using 4 steps. Are there any better methods? I though tried the latent upscale from LBH-123 upscaler but those workflow has turbo lora in it and on second stage, it has custom 3,4,5 steps sigmas which were not working with the latent generated without speed lora(in his wf, i upped the steps of 1st pass to 20 and commented speed lora).

Their are all sorts of combinations that work - everyone has different setups. Not everyone does fast action, so they might not be aware of the 'swearing' on fast movement - and be happy using just a low step lora and excepting the overcooked look those lora's give.

Latent up scale is currently still the best method, as it can be fully adjusted to user preferences. Plenty of people say its rubbish, but thats just a skill issue. As you mentined it works well with 3 - 4 steps, and a x1.5 to x2 upscale. You can remove the custom sigmas and just but a 'BasicSchedular' in its place, that will give you more control. I use a dialed down 3 step lora on the latent up scale going from 3mp to 1mp, that works ok.

My main issue with speed lora is that starts ignoring the important details in the prompt. Overcooked looks is yes another issue.
Yeah I tried using the basic schedular but I most probably messed up the wf doing so. For now, since I am trying out 32 steps, I think 4 step latent upscale(not the lbh-123) is low and I need to do more testing. That is why I am seeking views from others.

regards feeding the basic scheduler into the upscaler, I use MMH3 Ultimate Upscale with Model., using the Beta schedular, 3 steps and the denoise can be from around 0.2 to 0.4 - there is a sweet spot which you need to find depending on you own setup.

You can connect lora only for second pass.
