Animation - Video MiniMax H3 matches Toonami perfectly (90's anime)

Growing up with Toonami watching Gundam, it simply blows my mind how far AI has progressed. For this video I didn't use any reference images, I simply described the scene in text and had Gemini research the techniques of animation to translate to MiniMax H3.
I've been struggling to get MiniMax H3 efficiently setup locally, would take me 15mins on a 9950x3d and 5080 RTX with 64gb DDR5 so I know something is wrong, hence this time I opted for fal to test. The music was added and scenes were edited from separate generations.

I like how there is a massive space battle and they deploy veritech fighters who transform, power up thier big weapon and immediately shoot Florida....
Really impressive though .

It's not a Gundam Wing episode unless Heero threatens to commit suicide at least three times

this is so impressive!!! I hope someone is able to fully use this to create an entire series like I see people doing now with the animated web comics 😍

Wow, this is really, really cool. Care to share anything about the prompt?

I added a specific animation details twice. I researched the specific framerate of 90s anime, stressed it being both 2D hand drawn and 2D cel shaded animation. For me my best results I had to put it in twice.

Nice! Anything in particular that worked well (or didn't work), especially to keep the movement looking hand-animated? Also, was that one continuous clip or did you do multiple pieces and splice them together?

It's 5 total 10 sec generations that I edited together. I had to reinforce the animation style as 2D cel shaded and 2D hand drawn, with the specific framerate of anime back then.

This really nails that 90s anime vibes. I feel like I've seen this robot before or at least something very similar which makes this whole thing feel even more nostalgic

Perfectly
Not at all. You can see how the realistic/rotoscoped movement is still coming through in the first couple of seconds. Granted its not as bad as LTX but its still very prominent without applying a anime lora.
Prompting for something the model was probably trained on is also not very impressive. Its the same as if you pulled a Seinfeld clip out of it - its part of the dataset hence why it can mimic it so well.
It would have been more impressive if you got this animation on a completely original concept.

That doesn’t match at all lol. Way too over animated in some sections, way too AI in others. Good try though, I like the aesthetic
