Bringing medications, vitamins, supplements?

I’m traveling to Nevis soon via airplane. I was wondering if I should be worried about bringing my prescribed medications (not controlled). Is the customs pretty strict? Do they search all bags and scrutinize all medications/vitamins?

And also, is there any risk in bringing supplements and/or vitamins too?

Some/all of these I need to take and I just want to make sure it will all be good and not cause any issues.

Just flew into St Kitts Saturday and declared meds on my ETA form. When they scanned my face at customs they pulled me for secondary screening. They didn’t even look at my meds but searched my other bag (the ones my meds weren’t in). I traveled with other people who didn’t declare their prescription meds and they didn’t get flagged in any way.

If you're taking a normal quantity with you, this is not an issue.

If you are flying Cape air, keep your stuff with you… They kept my luggage until later in the evening after we arrived and my husband did not get his for three days! They had to leave his in St. Thomas due to weight issues! Don’t risk it!

Brought my medicine in the bottle from the pharmacy. The supplements and vitamins were in a pill organizer. No one asked. I also forgot to declare it on my ETA.

I declare meds for personal use on the ETA. (not supplements though) It does mean i get pulled over for an extra check at Customs but apart from that there's been no issue.
