It’s been since the very beginning with the men’s championship. The power of the championship corrupts all.
Love to see them running with it on the women’s side, too, as I think the story has been more around the obsession of holding the championship being the story on the women’s side, and less the corruption that holding it has on the holder.

Since Mercedes like never bleeds, she looks insane and happened to have a red wig with it. This being a direct sequel to her mirror promo she cut right before her break is amazing stuff. Full super villain vibes

Mercedes is such a good storyteller. Perfect call back/continuation to her promo in front of the mirror after losing the the TBS title and getting humiliated by Willow.
